Oak Quarry Golf Club

Course is in good condition, bunkers need a little TLC, but otherwise tee boxes, fairways, greens and rough were all in excellent condition. The layout is spectacular and the views are awesome. Something I don’t usually care about is the golf carts a course provides but at Oak Quarry it’s worth mentioning they have some really nice carts with plush seats and Bluetooth speakers built in.

The post round happy hour margaritas were also great!

Course was very wet and most of the bunkers were rock hard.

One of my favorite courses, but today the course played a little slow. Back 9 almost 3 hours. Could've used a marshall to speed things up a little. However, this course is a lot of fun!

Paid roughly $150 for a Saturday morning round and was underwhelmed. Although there are some spectacular holes with beautiful views and interesting layouts, for this kind of money my expectations are much higher. The bunkers were nothing short of a disgrace - worse than muni courses - with very little sand, packed hard like concrete, with bushes growing inside the trap. While some holes were great, an equal amount were underwhelming, especially on the back 9. Glad I played it as I’d been curious for a while about the course, but will not be returning.

1st the good...course is in great shape tee to green and the layout is spectacular. The clubhouse staff were friendly and accommodating.

Now the disappointment....played the 1st 7 holes in just over an hour, from that point on it was 2 groups on each tee box when we finished previous hile. One was a single who didn't want to play with anyone else.. Course should have made him and then several 4somes in a row in front of him. All playing at a 20+ minute per hole pace. Marshall needed to take charge and move play along.

We finally quit after the 12th hole since the last 5 had taken just over 2 hours and we waited on every shot tee to green. The single even hit multiple balls several times even though we were waiting on every shot. Unfortunately I won't be back. If I'm going to spend 6 hours on the course it better be for 27-36 holes.

Finally a round wide open. always a great looking course and decent to great course conditions. Enjoy the grass range for warm up. No gripes other than no cash excepted card only (now I can’t lie about where I been) lol but love this place when it’s not crowded

I've played at Oak Quarry a few times before. I must say, COVID has led many people to pick up golf. As such, golf courses have more than doubled their prices. The earliest weekend tee times at this course used to be $98. Today, the same tee time will cost you $197. This is a great course as it is beautiful and challenging. However, I am only recommending this to people I know because it is an experience and challengin. I wouldn't play here all the time because, for the top dollar they charge, I can play at a really famous course like Trump.

Oak Quarry was a fantastic course, requiring some thought in shots and setting up your approach. Not just bomb and go course. The need to think your way around the course forces you to play a better game. Definitely coming back.

We played this course on a Sunday morning. The course is really cool to play but I do think that for $100 in the summer they should offer more. My complaints are: No complimentary bottled water offered in the carts, no water stations throughout the course, no cart girl present, and no staff offered to wipe down our clubs after the round was over even though there was several you g guys standing around doing nothing.
