Grandview Golf Club

We thoroughly enjoyed Grandview, even though we ended up with a 5-hr round (and it was a Tues!). Course was packed, but given that it was likely one of the last nice fall days, not surprising.

Layout of some of the holes definitely challenging, especially for the first-time playing it, but the course conditions mitigate this. They were excellent - even though the greens had just been aerated.

Every member of the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. This definitely added to what was an overall great round of golf.

Doesn’t get much better than the views of fall colors on this course!

Course conditions were perfect! Always enjoy playing the course.

Looking forward to them getting the restaurant open, next year?

ONe of the best courses for the money in Northern MIchigan. Fun Greens and lots of great scenery. The conditions of the course are great and it is a fun course.

You have to hit an absolutely perfect (and long) shot to be able to see the flagstick through a very narrow gauntlet. Almost impossible for the average senior golfer. Take time to practice putting before going out, the greens are fast and tricky.

Play was extremely slow! We waited to hit every single shot for entire 18 holes. Took us over 4 1/2 hours to play 18. Not once did we see a course ranger.

Course itself was very nice and in good condition. I doubt if we would play the course again any time soon given the very slow play.

Wow, found a deal for this last Sunday morning and had a premonition that it was going to be a good time. And Grandview did not disappoint. What a hidden gem this place is. And yes, there are some grand views to be seen throughout.

It all started with the starter… some courses don’t even put one out there anymore, but this guy was the friendliest dang guy you could hope to meet. And he actually started our round off so nicely (hit a great first shot, which I rarely ever do).

This course is beautiful and it is well maintained and I just couldn’t believe what I got for the price on a Sunday morning. Greens are beautiful and you can just tell this place is well maintained. It certainly challenged me quite a bit; there are more than a few tough doglegs throughout.

Stopped at the clubhouse to have a hotdog at the turn, and even the food was good.

All around a spectacular day in northern Michigan. 🏆

Greens are good, fairways ok dry in some spots, very soft in others. Be aware clubhouse is being renovated so food options at course are very limited.

Was very busy on a Tuesday and we hooked up with a single gentleman who drove all the way down from Sault St Marie and was a beautiful day. A very nice layout with good conditions at a very good price on TeeOff.($36 for 2)

Would definitely play again.

The course layout is awesome !! Never a dull moment on the greens !! Few is beautiful !! Fall is going to show the golfers how awesome the color is on this course !!

Can not wait for the club house / restaurant to be completed ..
