Exceptional Golf Course!
We were especially pleased with the condition of the course. In fact, the grass was so think and lush that it was sometimes difficult to find the ball whenever it happened to land off of the fairway! But we just were appreciative of the excellent maintenance of the grounds!
Beautiful course
This course is well maintained. The first nine holes has lots of hill topography and the back nine is very flat. It is open enough where you aren’t losing lots of balls which is a positive for me.
Good Course
My Wife and I golfed here Saturday and we were teamed up with another twosome but they were walking and we had a cart so that was another slow down. The first Tee we had to wait for a while to get off, we finally started our round about 20 minutes after our tee time. The course was nice and in good condition, just the long wait just to even tee off the first hole was crazy, then to team a cart group with a walking group, horrible.
Spend more time looking for balls then playing
You will spend more time looking for balls in the rough than actually playing because the rough is so tall. Hit a great drive that rolls from the fairway onto the rough and you can kiss your ball goodbye because you can’t seen anything through how tall and thick that stuff is
Slow play
It took 3.5 hours for the first nine holes. Didn’t do the 2nd nine. They really need a few rangers checking on the bottle necks.
Yikes
This is probably the 6th or 7th time that I've golfed huron meadows, and I'm not sure I'll be back. I paid for a 120 p.m. tee time to golf 18 with a cart, and I left after nine holes because the first nine took over 3 hours.
Nice Metro Park course
Nice course for a Metro Park course. No tag needed to enter golf course, like Kensington. Golf cart pavement has many rough spots and needs some repair. Drove in the rough and fairways to avoid. Played at 7am, so pace of play was great. Unsure what later in day would be like. Senior rates start at age 55.
Huron Meadows - very nice !!
Excellent experience, low key, friendly people, nice course. Good pace of play, overall great day.
Good Solid Track
Always enjoy playing at Huron Meadows but the tee boxes are not level and the primary rough needs to be cut down to less than the current 4+ inches.
