About
Eldorado, located just south of Cadillac, has built a reputation as one of the best golf values in the Great Lakes area. Conveniently situated at the US-131 and M-115 interchange, the course has a scenic northern Michigan setting that is easily accessible. The championship layout sprawls across rolling hills laced with flowering wetland areas. The golf course features elevated tees and generous green complexes with subtle but tricky undulations. Most of the greens are sloped back to front. The opening nine is more forgiving the back. There aren't as many forced carries and you won't be as severely penalized for missing the fairway. Eldorado's final hole is one of the toughest. This par 2 requires a long and accurate tee shot and the approach across a sizeable water hazard leaves little room for error.

Golfer Reviews
Great Golfing Experience
I really liked the classic car theme of the club area. This was a very nice course to play and the pull up hot dog stand was a nice touch. We will be back for sure!
Consistently great
The best course in the area. Good value for the money. The staff is great from the moment you are met with a cart in the parking lot through check in, an outdoor grille for lunch at the turn, and the beverage cart on the course. Fairways and greens have always been in excellent condition. Always my first stop when in the Cadillac area.
Blew my expectations away!
Wonderful staff. Well maintained grounds. No crowds. Played at my own pace...no one in front holding up play. No one behind. Challenging but fair layout. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommended!!
Very nicecourse.
The course is beautiful but there were several greens that had large brown spots.
Great play!
The course really was gorgeous. It was the perfect day to play 18. We both very much enjoyed it overall!
excellent conditions
Course was playing firm and fast. Nice pace 3 1/2 hours without rushing. Staff was friendly, easy recommend
Turkey family and fawn, natural lake AC
Always enjoy the serenity and history of the cool lake breezes here. By myself while wife was sick. Always in good shape.
Have read it has been for sale but see the same gent running it even on a Saturday night.
Decided to play the tips on meadows and valley across street , nice challenge for this ol man.
Plug for Thoroughbred, $30 Monday seniors 18 cart, hot dog and nonnalco bev. That course mesmerizes me.
Lots of good tracks on the lakeshore this is one
63 cents! With golfpass points, carry them bogs, play right tee
I have played this course now three times I believe and I scored a fantastic next to being free rate of $.63 after having driven down to Jackson Michigan played the grand on Monday. This is comparable but display is a happen business right next to Highway 131 of course compared to the grand on 127 south of Jackson what a difference. Course and great shapes very similar with a lot of box and carries over swamps and what not. Play here with the wife couple times I got hooked up with a threesome and very nice gentleman. Never really played golf with real jerks but these guys were very nice guys. Three of us played from the chrome tea. An older gentleman moved up one day nothing really to complain about here, except for those car paths going over through the swamps man somebody’s gonna go down. Need some work on them cart paths.
Had a great time on a hot humid 7/16/25 Wednesday
Beer girl every 3-4 holes. Didn’t partake, brought my own Wawa.
Fix them wooden cart paths!
Guy paid $75 to play here on wed, not worth it.Best course in Cadillac, highest price but not for me
Good service , long course
Long back nine , fast greens . Clean tight course . Beer cart came by 4 times . Had hotdogs and brats ready at the turn . Good service .
$20 Range balls????
Course itself is in great condition. The on course amenities and infrastructure could use some help. Many cart bridges are in disrepair and unsafe. Green fees are a bit steep and $20 for a bucket of range balls is ridiculous.
