Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis
About
The Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis is an 18-hole, public course located in Little Egg Harbor. George Fazio designed the challenging course, which has a yardage of 6,848 at the longest tees with a par of 72. The course also features tree-lined fairways and greens of bent grass and water hazards that come into play on some holes.
Ocean County Golf Course at Atlantis has a particularly tricky 6th hole since there is a pond in the middle of the fairway that you must get past in order to reach the green. The golf course used to be private so it features all the amenities that a private club would have such as a restaurant and pro shop.

fun course but very slow round
I really wanted to give this course a great review because we had a lot of fun, but the pace of play was pretty awful. The 2 guys that we were paired with quit after 13 bc they had to get home, and we ended up up quitting after 15 bc there were 2 foursomes waiting on the 16th tee which was a long par 3. We were already 4 and a half hours into our round and figured it would be 6+ hours if we played the final 3 holes. It was still a pretty good experience bc they course was challenging and in really good condition. The starter did tell us before our round that the course was extremely crowded, so maybe the pace of play is usually better. We will definitely give the course another try in the future.
Fun course but very slow round
I wanted to give this course a great review bc I thought the layout and conditions were very good, but the pace of play was pretty awful. We actually quit after the 15th hole because there were 2 foursomes waiting on the long par 3 16th that hadn't even tee'd off yet and we were already 4 and a half hours into our round. I think we would have been looking at 6+ hours if we played the final 3 holes which is just no fun. I will definitely give the course another try bc it was challenging, fun and in very good condition.
Great value!
Overall, a great experience for the money. Course is attractive but would love to have played when it first opened. Greens are very slow. The rough is largely clover. Greens and fairways could use a reseeding. Didn't see many rakes around the sand traps. We didn't have time to stop for a drink afterwards but happy hour prices were enticing. Friendly staff. Will definitely play here again.
Atlantis
Using Golfnow app is extremely easy and it saves a lot of money. Atlantis In Little Egg Harbor NJ is a fun course to play
Great course Wonderful Staff
Played this course many times , the layout is very challenging, many hole require a good drive in the fairway to be able to reach the greens. But the best thing about Atlantis is the Pro Shop Staff and Starter, they are always very accommodating and friendly and make a golf Sunday a more enjoyable outing
This can be a great value.
Gas carts. Fairways full of clover. No real pro shop. This is an old parkland course that is now owned and run by the county. But it was in good, if a little shaggy, condition. The greens were slow, but true. The layout was fine, plenty of challenge and interest for all but the single-digit handicappers. And with Golf Now's hot deal, a stone bargain.
Slow but worth the $$
Very wet. Does not drain well. Don't play after rain. Worth the price though.
Atlantis
The course is difficult but fun. Tee boxes aren't level. Most bunkers are missing rakes so they are not raked. Roughs are thick so stay on the fairway. Golf cart was tempermental, difficult to start/accellorate.
Challenging course
Played many times and see lots of improvements, (new pro shop, snack bar, ladies t boxes) . The thing that really needs improvement is having sand in the sand traps. A course at the shore should have no problem getting sand!
Great Layout
Every hole makes you think where to place your tee shot so you will have a good angle into the green. Conditions were good and the greens were a little bumpy, The rough is in, so stay in the fairway. I really enjoy playing here, especially $35 to ride
Atlantis tuckerton
Rough has been cut as well as tee boxes and greens---good job by grounds crew.
Clubhouse staff
Not very friendly at check in or the snack bar (same person). Starter was very friendly and accommodating. Course was pretty nice except the sand traps were very poor and many (most) had no rakes.
Atlantis - Good Course
The course layout was great, but the greens were a little rough in some places, but mostly due to lack of detailed care. I played the course on a GolfNow Hot Deal, and for the price it was a great 18 holes that gave a decent challenge. The yardage markers were very minimal with some holes having none at all, and the area behind some greens were rough sandy patches of grass. This made it tough to make up and down if the ball rolled off the back. The thicker rough made the course a great challenge if the ball wasn't placed in the fairway. Did get to see some wildlife throughout the course, including a group of deer that ran across the 9th green. Would still recommend this course to anyone that's trying to get in some golf.
Alotta fun
Got stuck behind a foursome that wouldn't let the two of us play threw . Only bad thing about course was pace of play
Good value for the buck.
The greens are pretty slow and the rough was extremely rough and in need of a mow. Other than that, the course was in good shape the pace of play was excellent and it is an extremely good value for the price.
Marty
Great total experience. From the greeting at check in to the starter all went perfect. Being a single I was grouped with fabulous guys. The course fairways were like a country club. Well done. Well done
Well cared for.
First time on this course. Had a great time. Fairways have a nice variation. I would definately play this course again. Staff are very friendly.
Great value for the money....would use Golfnow again
