Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Fine all around experience.
I was hoping to take advantage of the last few playable fall days to catch an afternoon of golf. This course did not disappoint. I was teamed up with a local who helped me navigate this course. Wide fairways with few obstacles made for an enjoyable round. Looking forward to playing again soon.
Easy to walk
Great conditions greens are great so are fairways, bunkers need some sand.
Overall great Saturday round
Cold weather on a November Saturday, but overall a great time.
Aerated greens took some juice off the putting game and some fairways could use a little TLC, but overall a great day and ended up playing with a few other groups as we tried to beat the setting sun. Will definitely be returning when a hot deal is offered as the price point is excellent.
Course in great shape
This is first time playing this course and was really surprised course is in great shape. Fairways are very green and rough is not that bad. The greens are in nice shape. The only snacks or drinks were in vending machines. No snack bar. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Layout is not bad and course is very open in case of errant shots. No rangers so we had slow groups in front of us and we a long 18. I would come back.
Great Round of Golf
Course was in great shape and weather was excellent for the third week of October. Will play this course again!

Outstanding course conditions!
This is my second time playing here, a week after my first. The greens were aerated just before last weekend's round and the greens are getting better. From tee to green the grass conditions are great! Considering how dry September was I was surprised by the lush conditions.
The Hot Deal made it a bargain to play especially with the "FALL" code. As a non-registered non-resident the course is a bit pricey for a muni, but the conditions do make it worth it!
Good for practice
Decent layout with fairly open fairways and rough. Greens were aerated and have wished I knew before I got there. Overall still decent track and well maintained.
The course is ok, but not worth the out of county price. Staff were less than friendly and seemed put out when dealing with customers. The fact that carts are not included is listed under “Notes”. Should be more prominent. We were told to clean out our carts because although the guy was relatively healthy he did t want to work too hard. Not worth $70.
Love playing at Spooky
People working there are really nice and friendly. The course was in great shape. The greens were a little fast. Pace of play was fast - finished 18 rounds in under 4 hours …

Leaves scattered around starting to be an issue, and could be a negative factor going forward

Played here many times. The tee boxes and greens were in great condition. Only negative was around greens a lot of burnt out areas, that made it hard to chip.
