About
Spooky Brook Golf Course in Somerset is a player-friendly course that is perfect for beginners. It offers just enough of a challenge but it still allows you some room for error. At 6,655 yards from the back tees, the golf course is relatively short but the greens, tees, and fairways offer plenty of room. The mostly flat terrain makes for an enjoyable walk and it's also wide open. While the golf course may not be the most formidable test, it does have a few challenges in store. Water has a presence throughout the course, especially on the back nine. Whether or not you are looking to hone your skills or if you want a casual round, the well maintained golf course appeals to any skill level. In addition to the course, Spooky Brook G.C. also has a driving range that you can use to warm-up.

Solid course
Pace of play could have been better
Our foursome had one walker yet we had to wait on the foursome ahead of us too many times.
Course was in good shape. Bunkers were good, soft sand for the most part.
Greens were fine.
A bit pricey compared to previous years.... but this a year like no other .
Spooky
Fun and easy track, relatively short.
Has some challenges on the back nine. The front nine is like a warm up for the back. Kept in pretty good shape, as are all Somerset county courses these days. Would recommend
Tremendous
Once again another great day. Course is in Country Club conditions from tee to greens
Can I get a card please
Not a bad course, but nothing great at all. The started was an a##hole for no reason. Asked for a scoring card and the unprofessional response was annoying. Maybe he was tired or having a bad day, but either way no reason for it.
Good value
Course looked great for this time of year(mid March). Already starting to “green up”. Just like its neighboring course, Quailbrook, the greens are some of the best that I play in NJ. Fairways and tees are also in great shape for a public course at a price under $60.00.
Layout is relatively open allowing for recovery from mis-hit drives. Easier to walk than Quailbrook.
Nice course overall.
