Quail Brook Golf Course
About
Quail Brook Golf Course in Somerset is one of central New Jersey's top public courses. The challenging design is a favorite amongst local golfers. The layout has a diverse mix of holes, some of which are spacious and wide-open and others that are rolling and tight. Although the golf course may seem short at 6,630 yards from the back tees, don't be fooled by the yardage. The course can feel much longer thanks to the hilly terrain. The front nine has subtler undulations while the back nine is dramatically hilly, which makes it a tough course to walk. Quail Brook Golf Course's undulating fairways lead to challenging sloped greens that are framed with strategically placed bunkers. There aren't too many opportunities for driving, but your short game will definitely get a workout.

Nice
Course in good condition, greens are rolling nice. Staff could be friendlier especially towards Golfnow customers. Cart path still in bad shape although some parts have been recently paved.
DISATISFIED
I BOOKED 10/24TH AS A GUEST AND GOLFNOW BOOKED ME 10/25TH
I WENT TO THE COURSE ON 10/24TH AND WAS TOLD I DIDN'T HAVE TEE TIME.
I'LL NOT USE GOLFNOW AGAIN.
Will be back again this fall.
Great conditions all around. Good pace. Great looking course. Will be back again a couple more times this fall.
Love the green.
It was a great rounding. The green is well maintained and the course is challengable.
Quail Brook on a Hot Deal. Score!
Course in very good condition. Greens were exceptional. Had a great time with a nice senioe couple. Will play again soon
Quirky course
Of the 5 public SOMERSET county courses this one ranks behind neshanic valley. The greens are well kept and fairways are decent.
Ambiance is a bit lacking and course is a bit short for long hitters but overall decent course.
If you are expecting a country club feel this is not the place, for that I recommend Neshanic Valley, Heron Glen or Royce Brook.
nice course
Course was in great condition. Relatively short course but requires your attention on every hole. Greens were very nice and ran true. Fairways were in good shape. Tee boxes were, for the most part in nice shape. Impressed with the overall condition of the course. Play it if you can, it's worth it.
should not have walked it!
Great course. Very challenging from blue tees for this 17 hc, but they are the right ones. I walked and that's a mistake on the back 9, but I made it and really loved the course. good condition, far better than other local tracks I've seen recently.
Beautiful course
I was very impressed with the condition of the entire course. The tee boxes, fairways, rough and greens were all in perfect condition. The sand traps were uniform from hole to hole. Not a difficult course but very enjoyable to play.
Great course in value and play
Played for first time on a sunday. Went as a single and was put with a double. Great guys who had played the course a few times before which was helpful since the course layout is nowhere to be found. No water on the course, but the course was shady which kept me out of the sun (tee off 230pm). The bunkers were a bit hard where my ball skipped in them and sat high but they were raked, drained and in good shape. Greens were fast as well. All in all I had a great time and will be back!
