About
Oak Valley Golf Club boasts the only Arnold Palmer-designed course in the Winston-Salem area. The course sprawls across what used to be old dairy farmland, nestled in the North Carolina foothills. Palmer utilized the rolling, wooded terrain and transformed the site into one of the Triad’s most scenic golf courses. The layout presents many challenges, including strategically placed sand traps along the undulating greens. You will also come across a fair amount of water hazards throughout the golf course. Palmer, known for his "go for broke" playing style, incorporated several interesting risk-reward holes and it has become what the course is known for. Good drives will be generously rewarded while an errant shot will make it tough to even get a bogey. Oak Valley Golf Club is a favorite among local golfers.

Awesome layout
Awesome layout and in nice condition. It has rained a few consecutive days, but given that, the course was still in excellent condition. Greens were quick but fair. Fairways generous and rough was reasonable. Great course designed by the “The King”. Will be back on our next trip to WS!
Another Great Palmer Golf Course
Beautiful fairways and greens. I can always count on Arnold Palmer courses to be impeccable and this one is to be added to the list.
Enjoyable Round
Greens in good shape but a little slow. Fairways and tees excellent and now rough has thickened up. Good test. Went around with little delay in less than 4 hours.
Great Course
Pace of play was a little slower today. But course was in good condition and greens rolling true! Staff was very friendly and accommodating!
Oak valley is a top tier golf course and is better than most top tier courses during the spring/summer and fall
One of the best in the Triad for $50
Very good course, especially for the money. Lots of challenging holes and shots, don’t play from the white tees, play from blue if there’s any debate in your group. The course doesn’t play the same and you end up with a bunch of 200 yd lay ups off the tee from the whites and it just doesn’t play how it’s meant to. Love the course though and always seems to kill me on a different pair of holes every time.
