About
Oak Valley Golf Club boasts the only Arnold Palmer-designed course in the Winston-Salem area. The course sprawls across what used to be old dairy farmland, nestled in the North Carolina foothills. Palmer utilized the rolling, wooded terrain and transformed the site into one of the Triad’s most scenic golf courses. The layout presents many challenges, including strategically placed sand traps along the undulating greens. You will also come across a fair amount of water hazards throughout the golf course. Palmer, known for his "go for broke" playing style, incorporated several interesting risk-reward holes and it has become what the course is known for. Good drives will be generously rewarded while an errant shot will make it tough to even get a bogey. Oak Valley Golf Club is a favorite among local golfers.

Course in good shape for winter conditions. Greens are fast!!
Challenging Course
First time playing this course. Overall a new challenge for me. Cold and wet, so a few fairways were soggy. I liked the course as you had a number of holes that you had to put some thought into due to the different hazards. I will return in the spring to see how it plays when everything is green.
Challenging, but fun course
This course is challenging every time I play it. The challenge is always good. The course is setup beautifully. Nothing is too easy but you always have a good day...even if you don’t always hit the fairway!

The King can do no wrong
Being a Western PA native, I felt an obligation to play an Arnold Palmer designed course. This is one of my favorite courses I've played since I've moved to the area, and it's extremely reasonable. I played on Thanksgiving Eve, and the greens looked like it was the middle of June. Sure, the fairways$29, I consider that a steal.
This course is as easy or as difficult as you wan to make it based on the variety of tee boxes. Arnold's Western PA roots are on display with elevation changes on multiple holes and multiple shots. The course is fairly open for the most part and was a joy to play. The pace of play could have been better, but it was a busy day on the course, which is understandable. Can't wait to go back and play it again.

Played on a Friday. Layout is great. Pace of play was solid as well. Great condition and friendly staff.

Oak Valley is always a pleasure to play. The Greens are always in immaculate condition!!!

First Time, But Not The Last
We’ve been talking about making the trip to Oak Valley for some time. We finally played today for the first time. Can’t believe we waited so long. Highly recommend. Course was in great shape. Can’t wait to play again.
Great course
We are traveling east coast and one of the nicest courses we’ve played. Undulating, hazards , and great condition.
Great track
Course is in great shape minus the ball marks on greens. Not courses fault but humans are just lazy and inconsiderate. Greens rolled great.

I expected the conditions to be good because they punched the greens at the right time. I did not expect them to be this great. The greens were flawless. The fairways were impeccable everything about the golf course was absolutely incredible.
