About
Oak Valley Golf Club boasts the only Arnold Palmer-designed course in the Winston-Salem area. The course sprawls across what used to be old dairy farmland, nestled in the North Carolina foothills. Palmer utilized the rolling, wooded terrain and transformed the site into one of the Triad’s most scenic golf courses. The layout presents many challenges, including strategically placed sand traps along the undulating greens. You will also come across a fair amount of water hazards throughout the golf course. Palmer, known for his "go for broke" playing style, incorporated several interesting risk-reward holes and it has become what the course is known for. Good drives will be generously rewarded while an errant shot will make it tough to even get a bogey. Oak Valley Golf Club is a favorite among local golfers.

Course is in great condition! LC in clubhouse will treat you right from the start with great customer service. Then your golf experience will not disappoint. Have fun playing OV!!!!
Super Conditions for Decembee
For a cool day in December the course offered excellent conditions. Cart path only ensured that they kept the fairways as good as possible. Helpful staff. Played fast

Great value and interersting course with lots of twists and turns.
Oak Valley is the real deal.
Oak Valley is a great layout at a very fair price. The course is usually in great shape and definitely didn’t disappoint yesterday. Everything is green and lush. The greens were soft yet rolling fairly quickly for bent grass this time of year. I highly recommend Oak Valley!

Pristine Condition
The course was in immaculate shape, not a single complaint in that regard that I can think of.
Pace of play felt slow on the front but we only had a twosome and were on pace for a 2 hour nine. Groups dropped off the back and there were no issues whatsoever.
Definitely worth the greens/cart fees. Fun course I'm already looking forward to getting back out there.
