Oak Valley Golf Club

Despite the heat, drought and that brutal January, this course was excellent! Fairways were excellent, greens were great. A pleasure to play. Staff was good as always. Just very impressed at the course conditions. Great job!

The course is always in great shape and the staff always friendly. The layout is beautiful, enjoyable and still challenging. Would play every week if possible.

Have played Oakvalley many times and normally it is in very good condition . Considering what has happened to many of the other local courses after the unseasonably cold winter, I would have to consider the course’s current condition as very good. There were some areas that have been re-sodded and were very wet but overall the greens and fairways were in pretty good shape. On the front nine, we got behind a very slow group that didn’t seem to be particularly interested in letting anyone through. There were several foursomes backed up behind us. Fortunately a ranger came along and suggested that they let some groups through. Once we got through the slow group, it was smooth sailing the rest of the way. I hope the course will continue to at least occasionally send a Ranger around to help keep things moving along.as in the past this has been a problem here.

It is a good layout and the staff is friendly. The course underwent renovations within the last couple of years. However several fairways were not in good shape and the same was true of a few of the greens.

I recently played a round here last Thursday, course was not busy in the afternoon and I played with my father and my son, three generations of golfers!

Course was in decent shape, the greens had been aerated several weeks earlier and were still growing in, however, greens rolled nicely and putts held their intended lines.

The staff was very nice to my 10-year old son and allowed him to ride with us for free!! Thanks so much Oak Valley and I will be sure to visit you guys in the near future!

An excellent Arnold Palmer design, great layout which

I find a lot of fun to play, I play from the white tees which is plenty challenging and gives me some good opportunities to score. The bermuda grass is not completely out but the course is in fine shape.

Call the pro shop to ask about the greens and course conditions. Oh course they lied and said it was in great shape. The greens hasn't fully recovered from being punched and some of the fairways had no grass and looks like mud. Was told it's bird poop . No seriously it was. whatever the case the course ain't worth $40 after 12 in those conditions. Did however like the course layout.Maybe in another month or two the course will represent Arnold Palmer name better.

The greens had been punched a couple of weeks ago and are still in the process of healing. There were a few times when putts would not stay on line due to the airiation. There was 5 holes that were cart path only. Those 5 fairways had very little grass. The golf course has a fantastic layout and is very enjoyable to play. I would expect course conditions to improve considerably within the next month or two when we get some warmer weather. Overall, I would say that this is one of my favorite courses to play within the area.

Always enjoy playing Oak Valley. They have the best greens around. The greens are fast and true.

This is a fun course to play, because of all the little twist and turns, and the greens will challenge your patient for 18 hole, which i love, no let up.

This is a really great course for the money, however it is not for a beginner. It was cart path only because of all the rain we’ve had so l wouldn’t recommend cart path only play but I would rather walk in these conditions but was playing with some older players and it wore us out. We weren’t rushed at all, we arrived early not knowing how much traffic we would travel in and the staff was very friendly and let us go on out because no one had a tee time we were thankful for that because it took about an hour longer than we thought because it had been a long time since they had played the course and didn’t remember the layout and it was my first time playing the course .

Course layout is great. Course forgiveness is great. Greens are too fast unless you are a PGA pro. Every putt must be online at proper speed or you will be 6, 8, 12 feet passed the hole.
