Lochmere Golf Club

The greens at the course are the best I have ever seen. The greens rival those of some private clubs nearby. The fairways and tees were a little rough but after the cold and wet winter/spring we’ve had, they weren’t that bad.

For the price you pay, this is an excellent value.

Must say this course is in good shape for all the rain we have had. Greens were beautiful and cut nicely. I have played a ton of golf over the years and would highly recommend this course to anyone that lives or is visiting the area. Before we teed off the starter was polite and helped us with some pointers on the course as we have never played. He “thanked us” for coming out and playing the course. Very respectful. Can’t wait to get back and play again!

Lochmere is in great condition thanks to the consistent,hard work of Ed Hanley and his team.

so used to Lochmere being in really good shape that seeing the fairways in kinda rough shape was a shock. Even brought a friend out who had never played there and was a bit embarrassed at the conditions.

Enjoyed playing here. Range to warm up and pace of play was great. Played a hot deal tee time at 12:24 on a tuesday for $24. Will definitely be back to Lochmere

If you like dry conditions, little grass, much dirt, terrible tee boxes, painful pace of play and ok greens then play here....otherwise pick another course....but not Falls Village!

This is a good course for the beginner or the advanced player. I always enjoy playing at Lochmere. I will warn that if it has rained within the couple of day before your round the course grounds get very wet and take a while to dry out!

Tee boxes have no grass .most fairways are mud or hard pan . No fun hitting from bad lies in fairway. Getting too late to blame the Weather.will avoid this course!

Excellent course. The staff was friendly and the course had the best greens I have putted on for years.

This place is dreadful. Fairways are barren, not brown grass, no grass. Tee boxes full of weeds, no water cups, no tees on cart, no bag people. Slow, slow, slow. Do not play. Can’t believe this is a Club Corp facility. Literally worst course I have ever played.

If you would have asked me about Lochmere 2 years ago, I would have said that you MUST play there and it's a great public course. I played the course last night for the first time in about two years and I can tell you that I do not think I'll be back anytime soon.

I experienced friendly service, but that's a given. What I also did experience were poor course conditions. The fairways were basically dirt and mud. A golfer would have more luck hitting it out of the rough. Course was brown, brown, brown. When I played it the last time I don't remember it being like that. For spending that kind of money on a week day I'd expect much better conditions.

Course is obviously suffering from a lack of rains/watering but to hit fairways and still be playing off of a sand or hard mud surface was a little frustrating.

Play pace was slow - don’t think this was VFM

No group in the immediate hole behind us (4 in my group) and definitely none ahead of us but still We were Made to skip the 14th. No other group was behind or ahead of us after the round. We finished in about 4hrs and 15 minutes.

Great Course. 2.75 for a Cup of Warm Coffee is Unsat. I bought Me and my golfing partner a large bucket of balls to warm up on range. Balls cost me 24 dollars for 2 buckets! I feel this is unsat! If I came just to hit balls and practice that's okay. But if I came to play on the course I would say 6 bucks for a large bucket is cool. A lot of courses give you a small bucket because you choose to come and play their course and they know you had other options/choices. Nice Course and one more thing....Course is played a lot and a lot of spots on fairways are hard packed soil due to carts being used on fairways. This course does not drain very well.
