Great weekday rates
I'm a newer player but really enjoy the course. Driver isn't the best choice for many of the holes here if you are a long hitter.
This course forces you to be better at the short game, which I appreciate as someone who is trying to improve.
Afternoon on a Friday is a great time to play here. Not a ton of traffic, friendly folks to pair up with (or play solo), and the price is right!

Spring Golf at its Finest
Cart path only really killed this experience. Not the courses fault. However, recently punched greens and soggy conditions provided quite a challenge. Lots of dog legs and a stream that seemed to meander throughout the entire course proved an added challenge. I would like to play again under normal course conditions. I would go back in the future.

Fun and Fair but 1 issue/nit
Fun track. Pace of play great and nice staff. Was in nice condition and despite greens being punched two weeks earlier (a bit slow), they are true and fair. Only issue is the tee box settings. I like to play between 6100 and 6300 and don't like alternating between whites and blues to get in that range. Wasn't a option from one set as whites were 5800-5900 and Blues I recall @6500 hundred. Big gap. Otherwise, all good.

Not what it used to be..
Not as friendly. If the grounds are being worked on. They should let you know in the golf shop. One of the ground staff walked into the refreshment area, didn’t wash his hands, grab a cup, got some ice out of the ice machine, squirted a soda from the soda machine. And then complain that if we took too much more time we may get skipped. Very unprofessional, Rude.. I won’t be playing there again. Was embarrassing, as our friends were visiting from England.

Greens were recently aerated. Should have been made aware before playing. Still had to pay the same price.
Old Sycamore, Charlotte
Just coming out of winter so can only get better condition wise. Not terrible but greens still recovering from being aerated. Tough course with plenty of dog legs. Definitely helps playing a second time as club selection so important. Driver not always recommended off the tees. Longer approaches but less trouble with fairway bunkers and water. If you do choose driver accuracy is key as you will probably find your ball if you’re not too wayward but unlikely to make the greens. Will definitely play again.

Great day to be outdoors, temps in mid 70's. Very windy, pace of play was slow. Course in pretty good condition for time of year. Cart path only due to rains in prior days. Not nearly as many wet/soggy spots on fairways as I envisioned. Staff super friendly and attentive. Beverage cart was frequent - a nice touch!

Oops!!!
Nice course. Great staff. Inconsiderate players on the course. Had a group ahead of us decide to play as a sixem on the back nine until they were broken up by ranger. Really messed up an otherwise wonderful afternoon. Putting was a lottery due to aeration of the greens. Will be back!

Winter Golf
Pace was slow. Took 15 min to get a hot dog at the turn. Conditions were bad but understandable this time of year. Definitely not worth the $80 Greens Fee

Conditions were not good this Spring
Fareways were muddy. Greens pretty rough. I played here 3 times last year and it was great. So maybe just issues recovering the course from Winter?

Maybe in the Spring
Course conditions this time of year are tough and especially so here. Maybe give them a try when the fairways are not dormant. Greens just average condition. Course doesn't look like much maintenance is going on. Hate to write a bad review but I would steer clear for a while.

Nice Course
Golf Course is very nice for the average golfer. A good combination of shorter and longer holes. Some water to shoot over and enough bunkers to make it challenging.
