About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Solid course but slow pace
I always enjoy my rounds at Rocky, but pace has been an issue each of my 3 rounds there this year. After the turn the course backs up to where I see 3 groups on one hole

Great
My wife and I played this yesterday, as always the course is in great shape. Pin placement was in some tough places but that's golf. Met two nice guys that played along, one videoed his entire round, I mean every shot. It wasn't his first time doing that, didn't slow us down at all.
Keep up the great work staff, it shows.
Great course, hit or miss pace of play
Rocky River is one of the best public courses around, it’s always in great condition and is a fun layout in general. Peak tee times will always be a challenging pace of play, it’s just something you have to expect playing public. Course was in great condition Sunday, round was over 5 hours due to a slow group a couple of groups ahead of us, but overall a nice day.
Shape
This course is in excellent shape, greens and fairways are great, tee boxes are fair. 14th fairway they are even trying to grow grass at the right corner of the fairway.

Slow around the track
Fairways, greens and tees all in very good condition. Good variety of holes.Would have given the course a 5 except for the same old problem of slow play. No reason to take 4:45 to play 18 holes on a Monday. Ranger was around, but obviously didn’t prod the slow players. When will people figure it out?
Too Expensive for time of season
I played back in February when course was not in great shape, however, no discount on price. Still paid full price, $75. Lots of dormant spots on fairways and tee boxes. Also, no beverage cart that day.
Not worth the price.
Layout and quality
Love the layout of the course and always have, all the holes offer different challenges that are fun to figure out. The course has great greens that run fast but true and the fairways are always quality, same for the bunkers. Love coming to play here every time
Will gladly play there again
Great course. Looked good in pictures but way better in person. Did not get to experience the range as it was closed for the day.
