About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Love the course , great price ! Sometimes a very slow pace though . Groups of 5 going through or singles not paired up
Good Value
Great value for a public course. Carts gave latest GPS. Only downside - several holes are perpetual Cart Path Only even after weeks of dry weather.
Great Course
I have played this one several times, my favorite in the Charlotte Area. The pace of play is pretty good but they always pair people into full parties so just depends on who ends up in front of you. Course is in great condition, highly recommend playing here.

Greens almost all the way back.
Played here on 7/15 & 7/30. Greens had been punched in early July. Was disappointed the course still charged $79 greens fee when the greens weren’t rolling perfectly.

Beautiful course
This course is well maintained, the staff is friendly and helpful.
Great layout but poor pace of play
Loved the course layout and the course was in great condition. Pace of play was horrible even for a Saturday afternoon. 5 hour round including a 6-some in front of us but even they were waiting on the people in front of them.
Big Bang for the bucks
5 stars. Beautiful layout and with the exception of just a couple of chewed up tee boxes, the course was in great condition.
Greens were true, and held shots. Bunkers well placed.

Nice cores,But!
Had to play cart path only. it was 100 and humid,.And the golf carts were programed to stay on the cart path, Need I mention, no yardage makers on the cart path! No fun! If the cores was wet I get it, but it was not wet at all. I see now why WE did not see Others out playing. the cart girl showed up at hole 18??;;;a LITTLE PANTSTRIP ON PATHS WOULD GO A LONG WAY!
Friendly match
Had a great time. Took a Preacher and let him win. Hahahahaha...a good golfer, great athlete who also had a great time. We paired up with a business PM and a Lawyer. They had a great time too. I didn't score well. Hit the ball good but greens were tough. As they should be at Rocky River. We don't play regularly so we cannot expect to be Lee, Jack, Arny, Tom, Seve, Scottie, Rory, Jordan, Ricky, DJ, Brooks, Bryson, Phil or Tiger. We can try!!!!!!!!! Good day to play too! Well done to the staff and crew!!!
