About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Great course, staff and experience
First time visit and had a great round. Course in excellent shape, staff was very friendly and welcoming, greens rolled fast and true. Plenty of cold water on the course on our hot day. We ordered food (chicken wraps) on hole 8 and it was ready at the turn and tasted great. Plenty of food and beverage options.
Course offers plenty of tee options. My wife was with me and the red tees are well placed and made for a great time for her. Large, well manicured fairways helped too! Great course for the money. Highly recommend.
Only suggestion is that the range needs cleaning buckets for the clubs. Minor thing but would help prior to going to the first tee.
We will definitely come back.

I love this course, but we played on a day after they just fertilized and it was CART PATH ONLY..... Long round!
Always a gem
the staff and the grounds crew and everything about that golf course is amazing. Glad to see there are other golf courses in the area putting money back into their course to make it better. Rate are slightly under other courses in lesser conditions. Please keep up the good work always a pleasure to play this great course
A little pricey, but worth the cost. Best public course greens in Charlotte. I could play this course every day.
A little too proud
I’ve played RR no less than 50x and now the only way to book a tee time is through their 3rd party vendors. It’s a great course but not being able to book a tee time by calling the pro shop?? Probably won’t be back till that changes.

Greens were fine and fun to play
I’m from Chicago and this is my first time playing out of state. Beautiful course, well taken care of, the greens were perfect. The only issue I had is the club house closes early and didn’t answer calls for the turn, even though the cart prompts you to call. Will play again if I visit, and 10/10 would recommend to friends visiting the area. One of the nicest courses I’ve been to.
Too big of gaps on holes
Despite getting rained out by thunderstorm holes 16, 17 and 18 had nobody on them so the ranges need to a better job of keeping pace of play because probably would’ve finished the round instead of only getting through 14 holes if the Rangers would’ve been doing a better job.
