About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Overpriced
Course is so crowded. Tee boxes in horrific shape. Good greens! Overall, course has gone downhill in the last couple of months, but hopefully with some tee box maintenance, course will get back to par. Friendly staff!
Greens were like carpet
Considering all the rain we’ve had lately, I was extremely impressed with the greens. I figured they would be bald, but they were in excellent condition!
Just ok
There aren't many courses in Charlotte worth paying higher than $50 a round and this is one of them. Greens were nice, fairways were ok and yes I understand it's still early in the growing season, but not worth the price.
Very good course, including greens.
This is a very good course with challenging greens. (Part of 4G has been resodded.) Regular rates are higher than other area courses, but online deals can be more affordable. Hope to revisit this course on a regular basis.
Very Disappointed
I've been playing Rocky River a 10-15 times per year for the last decade. Didn't play all winter and Thursday was the first time I played it since last season. It was in the worst shape I've ever seen it. I know the winter has been rough on a lot of courses but it will be a while before I play this course again.
Lives up to the hype
A solid solid course. I don’t think the layout is as exciting as some of the other courses in the area but something about this course is just a blast and makes it top tier. True and quick greens. Good course maintenance. A few challenging holes. Located right next to the race track
Overpriced
Way overvalued for what they offer as course doesn’t drain worth anything and never again will they get me
Rocky River Golf
Great track, beside the Speedway, Awesome layouts of all four par 5s. Challenging, fun par 3s. Only a few holes with less appealing,, playable layouts (9, 11, 15). Conditions this winter we’re exceptional! Could use some work cleaning up the ‘debris storage areas’!
This course needs work.
Fairways and mkst Tee Boxes were in terrible condition. Golf carts were pretty rough as well and not cleaned out in storage holders.
