About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

Still good after a rain
Had. couple of days of rain and cold: course dried out well: a few slushy spots but all in all excellent. Club nicely moved the tee boxes up to accomadate the conditions. Played with a friendly group and they almost kept the pace. Great walking rate and decent warm up. Green in great condition.
Fun course
First time playing here and had a good time. The greens were surprisingly challenging to me. Cool rock features even in the fairway.

Very nice layout. Hard to get on at peak times but the course itself is fantastic! No houses!
Great course for mid handicappers
Love the course layout, a mix of easy/difficult holes. The greens are in great shape and it will test your short game. Only few tee boxes were out of shape, fairways and greens are in great shape. Driving range was disappointing, irons only which makes it difficult to feel confident on hole 1. Overall enjoyed my time, will definitely return .

Great round with a great group. Cart GPS was not working and parking brake wasn’t working well.
Great public course in Charlotte
I traveled to Charlotte for work and booked this course on Golf Now. What a wonderful layout and scenery. Each hole was distinct in character and the greens were huge with a lot of undulation and speed. I was paired up with 3 other guys who had never played this course and we had a blast. I would highly recommend this to any traveler or local to the area.
Great course
Green were great and kept in good condition minus hole 4 where the center on the green is in the process of repair. Fairway are nice as well. Some of the tee boxes need some work but this course is played a lot so it’s to be expected. Overall. This is the best municipal course in a 50 mile radius and is my go to. Course
