Rocky River Golf Club at Concord
About
Rocky River Golf Club was carefully carved from lush, rolling hills and natural wetlands with the intent of preserving the beautiful terrain as much as possible. The course flows across the dramatic natural contours of the land, providing holes with plenty of elevation changes. Running alongside the rolling fairways are winding ribbons of native wetland grasses that weave through rocky outcroppings. Golfers shouldn't be surprised if they come across some of the wildlife that inhabits the course, which includes cranes, deer, and beavers. In addition to the stunning scenery, the golf course offers a challenging round. The large, contoured greens demand accurate iron play. Errant shots will find their way to the wetland areas or the patches of seeded fescue. In addition to the golf course, Rocky River offers a driving range with four target greens as well as a putting and chipping green.

A fine day on a fine golf course
Rough is tough & greens are fast but overall great shape for this time of year!
Lesson Learned
Do NOT play here right after a tournament unless you enjoy their TOUGHEST pin locations.
The ONLY hole with an easy pin had the tees at the TIPS!
Fluff Rough
Course in overall good shape but rough is very fluffy and mowed uneven around greens making chipping tough with unfair bad lies
One hole today was also under construction during our play
This course should be charging $30-40 and not $50-60
Great course for money
Course was in great shape and is a great value.
They should invest in course rangers to help with pace of play. It would just make the experience better.
great day on the links
I've been wanting to play this course for some time now as friends of mine had told me about the course. I went by myself but was paired up with 3 other gentlemen. Good guys and a good time had by all. Food order had been placed on the 8th hole so it would be ready at the turn. It wasn't for some reason which put us a little behind. No big deal. Hot dog was huge...........and luke warm at best. I'll be back for sure.
Played on August 26 and course was in best condition that I have ever seen it. This was best course I have played this year around Charlotte area.
Fun in the rain
Although it was a gray ugly day, there was alotta fun on the course!
Wonderful experience
Played the white tees and it was more than enough for me. I found the greens to be very challenging but fair. Corse conditions were above average country club condition at a public facility. I will be returning in subsequent months.
The golf staff was top notch and offered valuable tips.
Over price
Course is nice butt needs work on tee boxes and other areas. Lot of other courses in the area just as nice and a lot cheaper. Also don’t get a hot dog and beer at the turn unless your ready to take out a second Mortage
Excellent Course
As always Rocky River is a great hometown course but for a resident of Concord it is overpriced. To be a City maintained and owned course you should make it more affordable to the residents as $5 off should be an embarrassment to officials. Just overpriced.
Great course
Found this course years ago. Every time I’m within an hour I cut out time to play there. Keep it up!
Interesting layout
Cool course. Interesting layout. Certainly would play again!! Go left of, or over, the big rock!
Great shape; personnel excellent
The course itself was in great condition, however the greens were probably aerated a week or so ago and were still 'bumpy'...cost me 3-4 putts...

I always enjoy playing Rocky River. I find the course challenging , considering I lost 4 golfballs today is any indication. The course is well maintained, staff has been great, and a course certainly worth playing.
