Rocky River Golf Club at Concord

Nice layout. Greens are very firm and hard to spin a ball enough to stop. Lots of rocky waste areas which is typical for area. No marshall late in day to hustle groups along so we played right at 4hr.30 min as last group on course and an empty parking lit at the turn. A little disappointing there.

I played for the first time yesterday. Easy to book and check in, super helpful and friendly staff. The driving range was a little beat up, but you'd expect that at 2pm. The course played great, some of the short par 4's are a real challenge, the greens were nice and firm and rolled well. I'll come back again for sure. $70 for a round in a cart and a small bucket of balls to warm up is a steal. Great chipping/putting area that rolls as true as the greens did.

I play here mid-week every few months. Greens, fairways and bunkers are in very good condition. Fees are little high but discounts on Golfnow help. One of the better golf experiences in the Charlotte area.

Excellent conditions, very fast and huge greens. Pace of play a tad slow, but we were a threesome. GPS in carts was a nice bonus!

As frequently happens there, I got paired with clueless people who played incredibly slowly. They drove their carts all over the place, blasted country rock from their Bluetooth speakers, were never ready to play when it was their turn, and repeatedly walked right behind me mid-swing. It took almost 2:30 to play the front, midday during the week, with no one in front of us because we fell so far behind - but stacked up the course behind us. And no marshal in sight. I quit after nine.

Great conditions. Super laid back, yet very professional.

Good round, was cart path only but still fine. The cart path is usually not too far from your ball. Pace of play was good, and we played 12:40 on a Saturday.
