Love playing here.
Living in Myrtle Beach I always enjoy getting away to some elevation on a golf course. We discovered Cedarbrook after playing a number of courses in the area. Staff has always been super friendly. Conditions have been good each time we have played. Our go to course now when visiting our cabin in Lowgap.
Great Course
Enjoyed course. Great conditions. Some of the greens had more break than used too but was still fun.
Value
This is a fun and challenging course
The greens are in great shape and can be very tricky. The cart GPS is the best I have ever seen. I wish I lived closer.
Cedarbrook
Other than the tee boxes the course was in pretty good shape. Tee boxes were in pretty tough shape. Nice to see water back on number 8.
Value
Course conditions were very good. The greens were fast and are tricky if you get in the wrong spot. Fairways were in good shape and the rough was not too penalizing. It is a classic design with no two holes alike. For the money it is a great value and the GPS system on the carts is excellent.

The greens were true. Soft and receptive. Well groomed!

Fabulous Course
This course was fabulous and pace was pretty good, had a few group in front that we waited for. Booked it on GOLFNOW but we paid at the course $26…..well worth the drive
Friendly staff, challenges in the layout, fast greens
We booked this course sight unseen as part of our golf travels from Florida to Michigan and back. We were greeted by the Owner/Proprietor Zim when we arrived almost 90 minutes early and right away, we knew we made the right decision to book and play here.
The course has a lot of history and the Club membership takes pride in their Clubhouse, course and grounds. They have brand new electric carts with GPS. The pro shop was well stocked and the bar and grill was very nice too. We found the layout to be very interesting and the fairways were tight at times. However, the real challenge was the very fast greens!
Our scores were a tad higher because we aren't used to greens this fast in Florida. However, this is a great course for the price point. We would definitely recommend this course for future play.
A good course to test your skill
The course has always been one of my harder ones. The lay out is very fair and rewarding for good shots. You will use all your clubs. Greens are not in best condition but not terrible. Some pins are always in same place. Guessing the amount of slope in greens there isn’t much option. Staff were very friendly and I will be going back.

Summer time fun
This is the third time that I have played there in the last ten years. I always leave satisfied and today was no different. Great course! Great greens , friendly staff. No issues ! Tee boxes and fairways were good. I would go back again. If your in the Statesville , Winston-Salem area then I would recommend trying it out.
