The starter explained that the course was fairly flat by Asheville standards- correct. He told me there was lots of water and that I would spend a lot of money on balls- both correct. Nice challenging layout. Nice carts with gps. Restaurant/bar was good.

The course was in great shape. Geeens were quick and smooth. Fairways and rough were solid. The rates have gone up but if you catch it on a hot deal, it is very much worth it.

Great facilities for golfers.. everything from driving range to full service bar. Wish they would implement a bag drop service no with new carts and and cart coolers since they banned thier open cooler policy.. a plastic bag with 6 beers and ice in 90 degrees dosent hold up too long..besides that greens were smooth.. fairways cut nicely with nice pace of play

I have been playing this course for 20 years and i recently played here about 2 months ago.

people from all over would come and play with a passanger and were never charged for that.

Now they charge 20.00 for that right

Then i find out the hard way, that you can no longer take a cart to the parking lot,and load your clubs.

When i went out to play the carts would stop dead in their track if you went somewhere away from the fairway. It was a confusing day to say the least.

The new owners have made very nice improvements and I have played the course several times. Nice driving range and bar is a fun place to relax after the round (great staff). My main complaint is the cashier Rick. He is always rude, impatient, and unfriendly. Hire someone who is pleasant asap.

This course is very "okay" in terms of playing and conditions, but what really set it apart for me was the terrible service.

Attendant inside the shop was VERY rude when we checked in (total jerk). Aside from that we loaded a cooler in our cart, teed off on the first, and then another (less than friendly) attendant followed us and told me not only could I NOT have my cooler, but I could NOT carry the beer that I BROUGHT. If I would have known we would receive this service I would have played elsewhere, probably won't go back. Cooler policy was never stated anywhere otherwise I would have known.

Broadmoor Golf Links was in excellent condition as the grounds crew works diligently to maintain its lushness. Pace of play happened to be pretty good in the morning, but not sure about the mid-morning and afternoon. Only knock is cart staff wasn’t real friendly. Bar staff on Fathers Day was good!

I have been playing here for years and love the layout. It’s really a good course for couples and there range is great. They recently started not letting carts in the parking lot which is fine I have played many courses that have that policy. What almost all of those places have is a cart person to take clubs off the carts , clean clubs, load them ect… There club drop is a cluster ! Hoping they fix that because what they have done with the course over the years has been great and this parking foolishness really takes away from it.

This is a good course with plenty of challenges. There is water on 13 of 18 holes which challenges both your drives and second shot. The greens are spacious enough (and always roll true) that you can play it safe and still score. Good course for someone looking for a flatter course in the mountains.

I have played this course regularly since its opening 20+ years ago but rising fees have had me looking elsewhere of late. Sunday was our first round there in almost a year. I will give management credit for making improvements to go along with higher rates.

The greens were very good but that has always been a hallmark of this course. Tees and fairways in good shape. They actually had a starter and a ranger and a beverage cart in action. I have never seen that trio at work at the same time before. Practice tee was in good shape and they have all new range balls. New carts with GPS screens as well.

So, they have upped the pricing lately but they have also provided added value.

The course was in excellent shape. Some of the tee boxes were not very level. Nice green grass in fairways and the greens were great as well. Lots of water. Some holes you better club down. Beautiful club house. Being right next to the airport kinda sucks, but not too bad. The only issue I really had was the driving range is right next to hole 10. Could be a little dangerous out there. Course didn’t have too much elevation change. Pretty flat with some hills on either side of the fairways. Carts have gps which they’ve had for about a month now. Staff seemed friendly. Food wasn’t over priced.

Front 9 went well. Back 9 was amazingly slow. 4-some holding up groups for 3 holes.

The course is in great shape. I play here a lot as a local and enjoy the layout and course. Fairways were best I’ve seen locally this year. Greens filled true and fast.
