Boston offers all of the attractions you would expect from a major city from world-class shopping and dining, to concert venues and sports arenas, but this coastal capital also has plenty of colonial New England charm. Walk the Freedom Trail, which will take you from the Boston Common to the U.S.S. Constitution, and you'll get a sense of the city's revolutionary spirit and history.

Explore the many diverse neighborhoods, like the North End -- Boston's Little Italy -- or check out one of the many fine museums or visit the famous New England Aquarium. No trip to Boston though, is complete without catching a Red Sox game at Fenway Park.

For golfers, Boston and its surrounding neighborhoods have plenty of golf courses that offer a wide variety of terrains and levels of difficulty. Maplegate Country Club is a popular choice with locals. Situated just outside of the city in Bellingham, this championship course sprawls across rolling hills covered with maple, beach, oak, and pine trees. Shaker Hills Golf Club in Harvard, the Robert T. Lynch Municipal Course in Brookline, and South Shore Country Club in Hingham are all popular options nearby.
