The Valley at Eastport Golf Club

Course is nice but they definitely over book tee times. Pace of play was terrible. The rangers were doing what they could to make it better. But it was definitely a manager issue as far as booking goes.

Course is short with small greens. most players can play from the back tees with no problem. Tees and greens are adjacent to each other so you have to pay attention. Nice layout though with fun holes. Greens were a little rough with some bare spots. Bunkers were well maintained. Fun little course for the money. Good value.

Course was looking really good. I played Oyster Bay & Heathland earlier in the week and the greens at Valley absolutely blew those two outta the water. Played 7 different courses on my trip and this was by far the best kept course I played. Will absolutely be playing this one again next year. It’s a short course, but a lot of fun.

Bring your iron game. A par 70 course where you can drive some greens …… but only a couple. Your short game will be critical with the elevated greens and trap placement. Probably the best kept fairways and greens in Horry County. The people who don’t like this course are the ones that have a hard time with consistent iron play. Staff is amazing and the ground crew is top notch! One 1️⃣ f my favorite places to play. The only complaint I would have is there are not water stations placed along the course like many in the area for the extreme summers here. Bring your Stanley’s with ice water!

This course has gone down hill over the years, as far as courses conditions go. It used to be a nice well cared for course, but this year there were several areas the weeds have taken over, greens were quite rough and inconsistent, and the bunkers were like dirty concrete.

The guy staffing the pro shop was very nice and helpful. I must apologize to the lady running the grill for inconveniencing her by asking for food. My bad for thinking the grill might have food prepared after asking if they had food. So if you go, make sure you eat before getting there.

Always have enjoy to play this course. With holes that shot makers. Keeps you in the game. Instead of grip and rip

Booked a 9:40 tee on Saturday for 80$$ wasn’t expecting much (booked late, only course with times available(SHOCKER)) should have know better. Pulling in you could see the carts backed up 10 deep on the first tee with only more on the way. Teed off 20 minutes later than scheduled. By hole 2 there were three sets of golfers all on the same hole. By the first par 5, FIVE groups (including us) on the same hole. Completely unacceptable. Called in by the 3rd hole to ask what our options were for refunding. ‘Pro’ told us we could only get rain checks. Felt like we got swindled. Course was a fine layout, greens were in awful condition, little bit over grown. Definitely out of shape with god awful ownership and management

I have played most of the courses in the area and will have to say the greens on the front are without doubt the worse I have ever been on. It should be a crime to charge what they are charging to play. I would rather putt on the parking lot because that would be better. In yrs past my wife has enjoyed that course but I can promise that was the last penny that course will ever get from me.
