About

Located less than an hour east of San Francisco, the Course at Wente Vineyards sprawls across the lush, rolling hills of Livermore Valley. Greg Norman carefully crafted the golf course, creating one of northern California's most challenging layouts. The course incorporates three different landscapes: woodlands, grassy meadows, and mature vineyards. All throughout the golf course though, golfers will be faced with dramatic elevation changes that cause tricky uneven lies but that also means there are panoramic views to be enjoyed on almost every hole. The fairways and landing areas are narrow and require good club management. The prevailing winds add another challenging element to the course. The Course at Wente Vineyards' back nine holes are more demanding with the par 3s being especially memorable. It is a tough but fair round that will reward proper club selection and strategy.

Just a perfect day of golf

Getting a hot deal made it an easy choice, but the staff and the course exceeded my expectations. Every person on the staff I interacted with was great. I finished in 3 and a half hours and the course gorgeous. I look forward to playing there again.

One of Northern California’s best courses

Wente Vineyards is one of my favorite courses to play here in Northern California. Great course with perfect greens and a beautiful setting. The course lets you settle in early with some gettable holes, but after hole 5 things get tougher. The finishing holes are tough and you’ll need to bring some game. Love this course.

Overpriced experience

At a $200 round golf course. There should be some kind of drinks in the morning that you can buy if you're one of the first people off if you want the full full experience for $200 you have to start at 9 PM and it's still not even worth the $200. It's only $100 course. Almost every tee boxs was on level. if you're an early bird like I am there's nothing. They don't sell cigars there's no starter there no beer in the pro shop so if you don't have beer, you can't buy it or sodas or drink or coffee people are snooty very unprofessional for me. The most that found should cost is $100 half the holes or cartpath only they don't tell you that so if you can't walk like me, I can't even play the hole. It hurt me so bad. There are so many courses at half the price. I will not waste my money if you're an early bird.

Great track

Great track! Very generous fairways with scenic views all around. The greens were rolling true and it was perfect pace. The course also has range with balls provided for the price and short game area and putting green close to the clubhouse.

There is immense price to be on the fairway or miss 10 feet either side of the fairway in the rough, if you don't, you will be in the rattle snake habitat and the rules are play at your own risk
