Sun City Country Club

This course is very forgiving, but it does have some challenges.. for the long headers look at the yardage. The course is a little shorter on the overall yardage. The staff is knowledgeable and very pleasant.

I don't understand why they don't cut done the giants size dead trees. There were quite a few of them. Eye sore for the course.

Nice people in the pro shop. The golf course, not so much. Large dead areas everywhere. Tee boxes chopped up, especially the par threes. Trash piled up all around most of not all of the tee area where the tiny trash cans were, they hadn't been emptied in what looked like a few days to a week. Some areas had been mown, and some hadn't. Greens, the majority I would rate a 5 out of 10, there were one or two that were decent. They were fuzzy and slow. Bunkers were a mixed bag at best. There must have been 4 to 6 areas where one or more leaking sprinklers were just left to flood the area and make large mud pits. After hearing so many good things (from the past) about the SCCC I was tremendously disappointed during and after my round there today to say the least. With so many choices in Sun City and the surrounding area it is just a shame that a course that was supposedly at one time very nice has been allowed to wither to nearly nothing. I would give them this advise, either start maintaining your course to a much better standard or sell it to someone who will. At this juncture I would not return of the green fees were $49 it doesn't merit that.

We waited at least 5 minutes between nearly every shot. No rangers to push the slow players to pick up their pace.

Course was in good shape pace of play was good. I got there early and the staff paired me up and got me out early. Good Course layout was very fair very enjoyable round

My wife doesn't play but likes to ride. Charging $25 is expensive .

Great course! We play it 3 to 4 times a month. The staff is great. We have no trouble with tee times. We mainly play on weekends where the staff is great. Course is a good challenge. They have a great cart girl on weekends Brianna. But when we've played during the week no cart girl around. Love the chipping green and bunker chipping green. I would definitely recommend it. We play all the courses in the sun city area and this is the best by far.

Really nice sercice and the course was in oerfext shape it was really good.

I had a really good time playing this course. The pace of play was excellent and I was paired up with a pair since I was alone that day. Overall I’m looking forward to playing here again

Good conditions for a desert course during a Phoenix dry spell, so plenty of roll out. Enough trees to add some shot challenges. Greens were fast, but fair. Tee boxes were pretty chewed on two of the par 3s, and one other was noticeably unlevel, but all others were decent. Bunkers were in good shape with enough sand. Building facilities and course restrooms were clean, but dated. Staff was courteous and very helpful. Very popular with locals.

Enjoyed the round on this course. Only complaint is there needs to be water available on the course. They have a nice refill station at the turn but nothing on the course. A drink cart on the course would be nice too. Otherwise great time there!

Staff was awesome and the course was in great shape. I will definitely play it again

Good course. Fun layout with plenty of trees. Greens in good shape.
