Boulder City Municipal Golf Course

GolfNow should disclose that you are playing back nine twice for $55....We found this requirement when checking in.... :(

Requesting 1/2 refund or credit since we did NOT play 2nd time around.

I like playing this course, but they are changing out their irrigation system, so they have closed the front 9 and you have to play the back twice. It appears that it will be several more months before that is complete and I anticipate once that is done they will close the back 9 and do the same thing. It's OK to play the same 9 twice, but at the end of the day you feel a little robbed playing the same 9 twice. I'll be waiting till they are done.

Request a credit for being only to play back nine ONLY due to construction. I was told this when checking in…NOT thru GolfNow….attendant told me that I had to go through GolfNow….more NOTIFICATION for course should be advertised!!

We were not notified that the entire front side of the course is being worked on and we were gonna have to play 18 holes by playing the back nine twice. At first, we were OK with that but then the Course decided that they were going to cram people, making the turn in between tee times which made the pace of play really slow. We love playing this course, but would’ve been nice to be notified that the front nine was closed. Neither Golf now or the Course let us know.

Overall great course, well kept. Staff is super friendly, at the time I went the front 9 was closed, so had to play back 9 twice, which is fine with me! Overall great experience will come again!

We paid for 18 holes only to get to the course and have them tell us that the front 9 is out of commission and if we want to play 18 we have to play the back twice. Nothing wrong with this but there was no mention of this at the time of booking. Additionally there was a temp green on 18. When we went to the tee we were called back twice after being accused of trying to play 3 and pay for 2. I had to show them my reservation on my phone.

The course is beautiful and well maintained. The pro shop staff were very friendly and provided support and information. The only thing I wish I had known before booking is that the course is only a 9- hole right now due it irrigation upgrades. We played through the nine twice, and had a good time, but would have obviously preferred to play all 18 holes. The price should reflect this or it should be noted before booking. Overall, great course, great staff, great day- would visit again.

Disappointing to learn at check in the front 9 was closed due to renovation. That information should have been revealed by Golf Now. The person in the pro shop indicated the course has been only 9 holes for quite some time. While sympathetic he could not offer any reduction in cost because the round had already been paid for. Note to self call the course before paying for it. Golf Now should offer a credit. I paid for 18 holes. Ended up playing back 9 twice. The greens were excellent. Fairways were average.

Friendly staff, nice place to golf. Have been paired up several times and have never golfed with anyone who did not enjoy the day.

Course is in good shape. Front 9 we finished in record time, even after the Marshall yelled at us to speed up. He then came back and apologized. I wish he would have came out on the second 9, it was really slow, we waited on every hole. On 13, there were 3 groups waiting.

They didn’t tell you in advance that the front 9 is closed for a year so you had to play the back 9 twice. Would have been nice to see that as an update.

The front nine was under construction for a new sprinkler system and had to play the back nine twice. I would not have played the course if I had known about the construction. No cart person for drinks. No marshal. There were two slow twosomes ahead of use that would not play as a foursome. A marshal would have helped force them to play as a foursome and keep the pace of play smooth. I only titled the review "wait to play for a few months" since I have no idea when construction will be complete.

When I booked the tee time, there was no mention that the front nine was under construction for 240 days starting in January. We're playing the back nine twice.

The golfers in front of us were extremely slow, but no one told them to speed up.

We got to the clubhouse at 3:30 pm, and everything was closed. No signage saying what time they closed.

We will likely try the course again when it isn't under construction.

Found nine holl close.

Too many people.slowly play.

Course was in good shape. Look forward to the front 9 getting opened. Played the course over 20 years ago.

Could only play back 9. Will not be back this year

The course is a great course. The layout is fantastic and challenging.

The greens are in amazing shape.
