Desert Willow in Henderson
Have been playing here since they opened. The staff is great and always helps with the t times. Course is always in great shape. We enjoy playing here and try to get out once a week. Sometimes when weather is excellent the pace of play will be a little slow.

Desert Willow Golf Course
I’ve played here four or five times this year, and this might be my favorite course in the Las Vegas area. Even though it is a Par 60 with no par 5’s, it is perfect for an afternoon round and can be played by a foursome in 3 - 4 hours. The tees, the fairways, the greens, the sand traps are all in impeccable condition. I’m 70 and sometimes a 5 - 6 hour round is just too much. I used every club in my bag today so I don’t consider this to be a “short” chip and putt course by any means. Plus, the surrounding scenery is amazing.

Maintainance of cup.
I've played this course around 150 times and I have never make a putt close to the hole. Whoever is cutting the cup needs training on how to cut new hole, remove the turf then set the cup level around the hole. for 12 inches after sitting the new cup

a fun challenge!
i enjoyed my round at desert willow so much, i went around again and shaved a few shots of my first attempt. it was moderately challenging and gave me lots of chances to practice my irons and short game. i would come back here again, 100 percent.

Ridiculous policies
Run by senior volunteer staff to service predominantly seniors in the Henderson area, they have chosen to incorporate ridiculous policies for the winter months. You do not get a cart for yourself even if you do pay for it here on Golfnow and show them the terms and conditions. If you want a cart for yourself they insist on a $20 fee. If you debate this they will threaten to remove you from the course. Additionally, all golfers must be off the course by 4:30 p.m. It typically takes 3 1/2 to 4 hours to play 18 holes. To book a tee time after 12:30 is a waste of money. It's a shame because the course is challenging and in great condition.

We quit after 12 holes as it was going to take at least 4 Hours to play. The people in front of us were very slow and the course marshal did not speed them up. We left hole 12 and drove around and the course was wide open in front of the foursome in front of us. We played hole 18 and went home. Great day, disappointing round and well over your recommended playing time.
