Desert Willow Golf Course

Contrary to the Pro shop staff telling us we got a "great price" there was no way the course was even close to the $50 for the round.

We weren't made aware of the seeding of tee boxes until the 2nd hole. This converted the already short course into a glorified chipping course with the price of a standard 18. Not to mention we played in rain/thunderstorms. Many holes were about 50 yds in total length. Around hole 4 or 5 there is a massive sewer that spills onto the course; bringing all the garbage and litter with it. This course is a dump and it used to be great as this was my school's home course in high school 15 years ago. Quite the plummet from grace. Go to any of the multitude of options around the valley. Or just go to putt putt

Spent a week visiting friends and played this course five times. Well maintained and very friendly groups of people. Great course to work on short game. Definitely will return.

The course consists mostly of par-3s, with just a few short par-4s.

On the day I played, the course was undergoing maintenance, so we had to use temporary tee boxes—most of which were positioned just 70 yards from the green. There hadn't been any mention of this when I booked.

I ended up having to play the back nine twice; I only needed a sand wedge and a putter the whole time.

You’d be much better off going to a driving range than playing here.

Normally a fun and well maintained course. However, today the course was dry, many bare spots on the fairways, and the greens were good, albeit dry. Possibly this has been done on purpose as they are preparing to oversee this week, as I was told by a staffer. Pace was a bit slow due to three groups of grumpy old men who thought they were better than their skills showed. Pace of play was fair. Practice facilities are excellent, other than having to hit from mats. Today was probably the worst condition I have seen this course. I fully expect they will get it turned around after they complete overseeding as they normally keep the course in great shape. So give it a month for them to do their thing and let the new grass grow in.

This course is one of the best executive courses I've played. 18 holes, 6 par 4's, Par 60. It has 4 challenging holes but also calls for the use of multiple clubs to navigate it. There is water that comes into play on 3 holes, the greens are in great shape and are some of the fastest in the area.

They just remodeled their bar area, but they still need to up their food quality and draft availability. Not bad, but if better, then a great place to be.

This is the last course we played in Las Vegas on vacation. I wasn’t super excited about playing it +100 degrees after playing several times during the week, but it was a blast. Way better than I thought it was going to be, and if you want to practice iron shots, this is a great place to play. Not was in great shape during a time other courses were dry and reseeding

If you want a good 18 hole short game experience, this is the place. Greens roll nice and well maintained. Around a 10 on the greens. Good surroundings and bar.

Good course to practice your short game. Fairly easy. Staff is great in making sure that pace of play is appropriate.

Course was in great shape for this time of year in Vegas. Starter was very friendly and helpful.

Driving range is mats only. Short game practice area is very good. Greens were in excellent condition...aside from the players that feel fixing their ball mark is show beneath them. Fairways are wide, typical of most executive courses. Fairways are in good condition, while the rough could be longer and denser. It wasn't really punishing to be in the rough. Even the grass bunkers were not penal. Staff were friendly and super helpful. The course was not particularly challenging, but it was enjoyable. Not much in the way of elevation changes...overall pretty flat except for maybe 2-3 holes. Pace of play was good for the first 12 holes...then it came to a grinding halt...so bad that one of our group call the pro shop to get a Marshall out to get it going. Total time was about 3.5 hours which is not great for a short course. Wouldn't be my first choice, but if the price is right and nothing better is available, I'd play here. On 18, keep the driver in the bag if you want to stay out of the water that is not visible from the tee. Overall...good, not great.

Well maintained all year round.

Greens in best shape ever. Fairways still transitioning to Bermuda. Best bet is to play Winer rules because there are patches of grass. Best value for dollar. 3-3:30 hr. rounds most time.
