Desert Willow Golf Course

This is a short course. Therefore, whoever decides the Green fee should be $49 if you walk or ride is Unfair and out of touch with reality.

There are several other courses in the area that give players a green free reduction if they walk the course. In addition, there is No Senior

Green fee rates. Being truly fair for the Green fees for senior citizens and people who walk would create more revenue for this course. .

Trying to play a round today but my sitter got sick and cancelled on me leaving my 4 year old song without care.. I called and asked if it was ok if he came with me, I bring him golfing with me ALL THE TIME and usually plan ahead for it by letting them know, most courses are happy to accommodate and rarely even charge a rider fee.. but no, not desert willow, they suddenly have problems with children 4 and younger… now I understand why having an infant is problematic but even after I told them he’s a huge kid and has been with me there 5 times in the last year with no issues.. they refused. What a ridiculous line in the sand.. we will not be returning, not when there are nicer courses that don’t have stupid policies and unhelpful staff with no discretion…

Now that I am 82 I avoid difficult golf courses and play less than 6,000 yrds or executive courses - this is a perfect example - condition is average except for greens which are in great condition - roll great and quick - pace of play varies from 3 to 3 1/2 hrs depending on who is playing in front of you

Some tee boxes need to be leveled.. grass outside of fairway needs help.. greens are good.. nice track

The price of a round of golf at Dessert Willow has gone up by 15 dollars and it’s worth it. Possibly the best shape I have seen this course in the ten plus years of playing it. At 51. Dollars a round it is still a good value.

Course was in good condition. Played six course in a week and this course had the best greens over some highly rated courses. Played 18??.jokes in a little over 3 hours. Lunch was excellent. Nice restaurant and views from clubhouse and large covered patio seating areas.

The Course was in excellent condition for this time of the year. The greens were perfect, and very fast. I highly recommend this very nice executive gold course.

Lived here since 2005. Conditions and lack of grass made it impossible to chip, pitch, and hit irons. Tee boxes were good.

Great course to practice your short game. Has a couple holes where you can swing driver. Practice range is mats only, but they do have a small practice bunker and chipping area that are nice. Lots of kids and seniors, so it's very laid back. Nice little bar/grill for food and drinks, and the cart girls made it by 4 times by the time we finished.

As usual the course was in excellent condition. Greens were near perfect and rolling super fast. Plays much tougher than a typical par 3 / par 4 executive style course.
