CrossCreek Golf Club
About
Situated amidst the beauty of the Temecula Valley, CrossCreek Golf Club enjoys a peacefully secluded setting enclosed by groves of mature oak and sycamore trees. Arthur Hills designed the course, using the rolling hills to incorporate tricky blind shots to elevated greens. His design is a true test of target golf. There is plenty of variety throughout the golf course with some holes that are framed by towering treetops and other holes that are wide-open, subjecting them to the prevailing winds. You won't find too many greenside bunkers but there are many fairways bunkers. Be prepared to use every club in your bag on this golf course. One of CrossCreek Golf Club's most memorable holes is the par-3 17th, which is carved into a rocky hillside. The green is similar to that of the notorious 12th hole at Augusta National, featuring a bushy creek protecting the front.

Fantastic layout
The moniker "Pristine golf" certainly applies here. This is one of the nicest venues in SoCal. The layout is fantastic. The views of the surrounding mansions, farms, and vineyards is envious. The back 9 can be a bit tight in places and is definitely the more difficult side. Greens are in great shape. Idk if they punched them or not yet but they rolled perfectly true with no signs of any healing from maintenance. I haven't played down this far in quite a while and I was impressed by the new look in the shop and the new layout in the restaurant. Pace of play ON A SATURDAY LATE MORNING was just over 4 hours. If you had to complain about anything it would have to be the tee boxes. Some of them are a bit sketchy but still plenty of areas on the tees to find an adequate spot to tee up. Such a gem I had forgotten how special this course plays. I'll be back soon.
Challenging Course
We had a great time. Some of the tee boxes where not in the best conditions but overall the course was great. Need a challenge try this course out. The gentleman that checks your cart in is really helpful! Keep up the good work.
Hidden gem
This course was a little bit of a commute and was previously off my radar but was well worth the drive and anticipate many more visits for quality and challenging course.
Good challenge
Course is very good shape. Challenging layout with a few target golf holes (16 and 18). Greens were slower than normal with them being sanded a few weeks earlier. Love the scenic experience of this course.
Cross Creek Golf Club Making Memories
Cross Creek is my favorite golf course in So Cal.
The course can be tight but fair. The fairways and greens are in excellent condition. Putts roll true and if the pace is correct, There are a lot of chances for birdies and pars. My favorite hole is #18. A very challenging end to a fun round.
Scenic and hidden gem.
Overall a great course with many holes that picturesque. Great conditions, only gripe would be the tee boxes. I would definitely come back to get another shot as some holes were not clear on where to place your tee shots.
Panoramic Views
The course is challenging. Set in the hillside with native Oaks and natural creeks flowing through the course. Some holes have vineyards adjacent. Beautiful vistas from all over the course.
Beautiful
One of the best , top maintained and challenging course in the Temecula Valley.
Challenging but beautiful views
Good course and weather, but the greens had recently been punched making putting difficult.
Great course/ Hidden gem
Course was in great condition overall. Amazing scenery, almost forget you’re in Southern California. Greens had been punched 2 weeks prior but were recovering nicely. Greens will probably be perfect in a couple of weeks. I highly recommend this course if you’re in the Temecula area, worth the drive.
Beautiful course NO RECEPTION
Course was amazing just had a group of 8 people that were slow and then started drinking and got slower. Actually backed up 3 groups of golfers
Great layout
One of my favorite layouts in the area. Condition was good. They had punched the greens a day before we played. Still enjoyed the round. Some really fun holes.
Annoyingly the cafe was closed so no food at the turn. Grabbed a diet Dr Pepper LOL.
