Eagle Creek Golf Club

Day after heavy rains cart paths only made it tuff on me as I’m older a lot of walking but course was very wet when started. Not many playing so was fast maybe should have give. Some discount due to conditions

Course could be amazing. And was in great condition earlier in the year. But needs a code of conduct. People not bothering to rake bunkers, rubbish dumped on the course. Tee boxes cut and sliced to pieces. Fairways missing large areas of grass.

Marshals are useless

Just go around do nothing about pace of play and this is perpetual problem

Overall the course is in good shape. Tee boxes were hit and miss. Fairways were good with some bad spots. Greens were good and fast. It was so breezy today so the wind was taken your ball. Even on the greens you had to play some of the wind. I felt like I was at the Open Championship at times. Lol I would definitely come back and play again.

They had just had a tournament, so there was more than the usual amount of damage to the course, like unrepaired divots, and Ball marks. There was also trash blowing all over the place, because it was a windy day, and again the tournament probably stretched their resources. Typically, when we play, there are pace of play issues, especially in the afternoons. There are a number of people that just randomly walk on or ride on to play on the course, and in the afternoons, there is no Marshall or starter to keep things in line.

Got a hot deal from GN and it was worth it. Greens were quick, rolled pretty true. Teeing areas normal, fairways a little sparse in a few areas but decent. Lots of good sand in bunkers. Staff in general were great, especially at halfway house and cart return. Would recommend and would play again.

I was really looking forward to playing Eagle Creek until I got there.

It was my 60th birthday so the wife decided to accompany me but we didn’t read the small print, she is a non golfer & we were charged $83 for her to come round with me, I sort of get it, I should have read the small print but I’m on holiday & I didn’t, they could have charged us $30 dollars for the buggy but $83 extortionate.

We didn’t bother spending anything in the clubhouse or pro-shop after whereas I normally buy a shirt or a momento of the club I play, and I didn’t enjoy the golf as much as I should’ve because Eagle Creek is a nice golf course but it left a sour taste in my mouth.

It a fun course to play. It starts easy but gets tough by #4. Good luck on 18!

Great course for the price. Overall, I found the course to be challenging yet forgiving. Greens were great and rolled true. Staff was extremely friendly. Piece of plate was a little slow at times. Finished in about 4 1/2 hours. My only issue which had nothing to do with the course was it took a while to get a Uber leaving.

Great course. The greens are PURE right now! Course punishes you if you hit it in the rough.

Overall course is in phenomenal shape. Get out there and play!

Great condition and and very fair layout. Generous size fairways and greens were in very good shape. Good range and warm up areas. Amenities are a little thin but there is a beverage cart on the course.

This is the 5th time we have played here over the years and unfortunately not the best experience.

Arrival meet with a cart I put one set of clubs on and the staff put one on but I still dropped him $10 no thank you just put in his pocket and walked away.

Pro shop well stocked with branded merchandise and nice branded shirts. Shop staff was ok. The range was ok balls a few different brands but ok to warm up with, played off turf and this was like most looked good but mostly sand.

Putting and chipping areas were good both reflected the course greens.

The starter not the sort of person I would want greeting people to the first tee? No nice chat just kept mentioning don’t drive the carts on to his par 3s what a ??????

The tees were all good nice and flat good grass.

Fairways the same all cut to a good playable length and played nicely. The rough was challenging but not too bad to find a ball in.

Greens approach’s and surrounds all good played nicely.

Greens putted well a true roll just a bit slower than I would like, the cups looked like they had not been changed for a while but nothing bad.

Layout is great I love the par 3s here all a bit of a challenge of the back tees par 4s and 5s are also a challenge of the backs but a quite fair if you take the correct lines.

Pace of play? Biggest let down? I have played here a number of times in the past and I have always liked that the people who play here are competent golfers and show good etiquette? We the 4 ball in front of us today threw that myth right out of the window? I have never had to wait so long to play my next shot? We even stopped half way to use the bathroom and top up with drinks and snacks only to catch them up on the 11th tee. They would not let us through? The course marshal did not want to know when he asked us if all was ok and we told him the truth he just drove off the other way without attempting to speak to the group of what only could be described as novices (that’s being polite).

No beverage cart and because we were so late finishing (nearly 5 hours) we had to rush off where we normally eat and have a drink at the clubs that we play so can’t review this.

It’s a shame we always look forward to playing here but this has all just taken the shine off it.

I would still recommend the course just keep you fingers crossed that you don’t get this 4 ball in front of you ?

User friendly with enough of a challenge for all levels.

The course is in great shape and the staff is friendly and helpful. Can’t wait til my next round!

Great price! A few wet spots but overall very good! Greens were great!
