Raven Golf Club - Phoenix features a one-of-a-kind round of desert golf. Amazing course, even in the summer. Pure fairways, solid greens. Definitely worth checking out in the summer before peak season pricing kicks in
Very nice course. I can see why people pay to play this course. Everyone working is very nice even being out in 110 degree weather. The course-tee boxes excellent. The fairways-great shape for the season, I just wish people would replace their divots. The greens-I loved them, they rolled very true once again come on people fix your divots! It should be an honor to repair your divots if you hit the green. Really enjoyed the course but unfortunately it’s usually out of my price range so I probably will not be able to return soon unless I get another Hot Deal. Thank you for a great day. Back 9 Closed for Aeration
Only became aware at checkin that the front 9 was to be played twice due to aeration efforts on back 9. Wish I knew before hand to schedule a different course for the day. Greens were slow; fairways sparse in places; sand traps fair but frequently wet. Pace was very good (almost no one on the course). Driving range surface as also sparse. Would recommend elsewhere until after their maintenance schedule (to include front 9 next).

We do our best to communicate maintenance closures and course conditions through our website and booking channels in advance. Unfortunately, when reservations are made through some third-party providers, those notifications don't always appear during the booking process. We understand how frustrating that can be and appreciate you bringing it to our attention.
Aerification is an essential part of maintaining healthy playing surfaces, and while it does create temporary disruptions, it allows us to deliver the best possible conditions throughout the year. We appreciate your patience during this process and hope you'll consider visiting us again once the course has fully recovered.
Nice course. 4 stars due to closure of back 9
Enjoyed the round and the folks I played with but disappointed that the tee time did not advise that the back 9 was closed and we would play the front 9 twice. Still got in 18 and the pace was good but I woud appreciate more transparency when booking the tee time.

We do post course alerts and maintenance information on our website during the booking process; however, when reservations are made through third-party providers such as GolfNow, that information doesn't always carry over.

Excellent course conditions.
Great course, staff and round time. Unbelievable that course is this playable and beautiful in the middle of the hot summer. You are provided plenty of range balls, ice and mango cooling towels as well. Play it and hopefully you have as much fun as we did.

Hot!!!
Raven Golf Club was in great condition overall, and the fairways and greens were well maintained. The only significant disappointment was the bunkers. They were extremely hard and, in many areas, wet and muddy, making them inconsistent and difficult to play from. Improving the bunker conditions would greatly enhance what is otherwise a very enjoyable golf course. Our round was very hot and I wish we would have had more opportunities for wet towels.

Raven Rocks
Raven was in exceptional shape for being late June. Better than We Ko Pa Suegaro and overall best golf I played this year. Only Grayhawk tops this course IMO. Undulations of the fairways and challenging greens made for an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend the Raven Ka-KAWWWWW!!!

Immaculate Condition
This course was in immaculate condition! Absolutely Beautiful! Finished under 4 hours, pace was great.

Good course and layout. Condition was mixed, tees and fairways were good, greens and bunkers were not up to par. The greens were on the slow side and bumpy. Bunkers ranged from mud to having sand but very compact. The cart kids were not very interested in customer service. This course also has a very odd cart policy were they will not give you a key for your cart until your exact tee time.

Great Day
when you play the Raven you expect the best and that is what I received. The staff was very helpful . As for the course the fairways were in excellent shape same with the greens. Bunkers had white sand in them. Cannot go wrong playing here and buying their summer package and sharing with a friend , Treat yourself to a golf course that is well maintained.

Absolutely beautiful course
On every tee you look out on to a well manicured fairway, they are pretty wide and lots of contours to make it interesting. Big deep traps. I enjoyed the course a lot. The service is great and polite. The only thing I will warn you about is the greens. They are hard and fast, like putting on a counter top. You don't have to worry about fixing pivots as i doubt you will leave any. We didn't.
I love the layout it keeps your attention on every hole. Like I said it is a pretty course and I plan to play it again.

Great Layout
I was paired up with three great guys. The course was in very good condition, especially considering we're in transition here in the desert. Fairways were in nice shape, tee boxes as well. The greens were recently aerated but rolled fast and true. Staff was great. This course is oasis in the desert with fairways surrounded by tapp pine trees with several elevation changes and undulating greens. It's a fantastic deal this time of year.
