About
The executive golf course at Mountain Shadows Golf Club in addition to being an excellent course has the added benefit of having a picturesque location nestled in the foothills of Camelback Mountain, and it also offers views of the equally majestic Mummy Mountains. The oleanders and palm trees sprinkled throughout the course enhance the pleasant atmosphere. The golf course's 18th hole boasts beautiful views of the sunset during the twilight hours but the signature hole is the par-3 12th hole. It plays uphill toward Camelback Mountain and over a pond and brook to a double-tiered green that is well protected by bunkers.

Greens were air rated two days before
I should have been notified since I booked my teatime weeks in advance that the greens were air rated two days before our teatime. They had holes every half of an inch over the entire Green so they were very bumpy! I would not have played this course if I knew they had been aerated two days prior to our tee time!
Favorite hidden gem in AZ
One of my favorite courses to play in Arizona. The staff are so friendly and helpful and make the experience that much better. Although it's a par 3 course, it's definitely challenging. The greens have lots of undulations, false fronts, and small target areas. Perfect mix of distances with tee shots ranging from 75 yards to just under 200 yards. Love coming here to work on irons, wedges and putting. Highly recommend this course if you haven't tried it out yet!

This is a great par 3 course I love the way you can have four people in one golf cartt

Picturesque and challenging
I loved this course. Good shots rewarded, Bad shots only marginally penalized. Greens sloped heavily in multiple directions. You will need your A game putting for sure. Beauty all around you. The starter was excellent at controlling pace of play. Pro shop guys were friendly. Superb experience - will make it a permanent addition to my annual Scottsdale escape.
A must play course
The view is spectacular. A challenging course to practice your short game. Putting is not easy but fun.

Warmup round on 1st day of golf trip.
I booked this round not knowing it was a par 3 course. I was delightfully pleased with the experience. My only complaint was a shot of Tito’s was $15. I had 2 double Tito’s and club soda and with tips today I spent $66! For 2 drinks! Price gouging at its finest. I can buy a half gallon at Safeway for $29.99. Absolutely ridiculous. I got this round on a hot deal and with perks played for $22 so it wasn’t a huge deal but I wouldn’t pay $100 a round for this course. I will say the staff was amazing, the views were stunning and the course was in great shape. Bring a flask folks if you coming here.

Beautiful Golf Experience
Charm and beauty best describe this golf setting. The course was in pristine condition. The views are spectacular and wonderful for picture taking. All par 3s were short, but good for sharpening up the wedge game. Very enjoyable for all of us. An experience to remember.
