Palmetto Golf Course

Pace to long over 5 hrs.

Starter and manager that were there when I went extremely rude!

Went with my little girl (obviously she wasn’t playing) and they hit me with a $45.00 spectator fee!

Don’t waste your time.

No trash cans around, no place to clean the balls either. Water stations around 3 in total. Greens are good and fairways are good as well

Course layout is great. There are some challenging homes that make you think about your layup locations. Overall, the course is in decent shape. The one issue with the course is the pace of play. 5hr rounds seem seem to be the norm.

the course overall was pretty challenging, and i liked that. But the greens were horrible full of patches that seems to be old holes. there were parts ion the green very close to the flag where you could litterally see the dirt, it didnt look like they had any intentions of fixing the damaged spots and had gotten forgotten.

I've played Palmetto for years. It is a long course with a variety of fun challenges for a middling golfer like myself. A couple of greens had bare spots/craters. With a heat advisory in affect there was no water in the two large coolers at the midpoint of the front nine, the only water station on the front nine other than the clubhouse. A course volunteer chewed us out for bringing a small cooler to the course - coolers are prohibited - but ours proved to be a potential life saver. $80 plus for a municpal course is fine - if the course is in excellent condition and basics like water are provided, especially when the rules prohibit bringing your own.

Slow pace make it long day on the golf course should have additional team members to monitor golf course

During play the maintenance team on the course using saw to cut downs post with consideration to players and one of them was driving cart during tee off.
