Legacy GC

Legacy has been consistently fun to play over the last few months. The course is in great condition. This last time there was no cart service. Also, it would be nice to have a few ball washing stations through the course.

Great Value

Great value for golf in the Las Vegas area. I have played courses that cost much more but fell short on the experience. The Legacy was in very good condition (could use some more water). The greens were in good condition but were inconsistent when it came to speed.. Pace of play, even with occasional waits was excellent. We finished in 4 hours. Great practice area for chipping and putting. Driving range is basically flat, making it hard to gauge distance since you cannot see where the ball lands. Course was well designed to use every club in your bag, including leaving the big dog in the bag on a couple of par 4s. Some fairways were surprisingly generous (like 18), while others were tight with a premium placed on accuracy. The bunkers seriously need sand. The hard soil underneath made sand shots like hitting off concrete. While it says walking is allowed, the distance between holes can be quite lengthy sometimes. A cart is recommended. This was my first time here, but it has made my Top 10 Best Value list for Las Vegas golf. Definitely plan to return.

Very tough hole locations..

A very good tough course with very tough whole locations. The scenery was great, and the course was well kept. Do not attempt to walk the course, you will need a golf cart as is very long. Good value for the money, hopefully there will be some more good deals coming.

Rough conditions and unreasonable policies

Very strict on cart usage. Cannot move them until tee time, they will do everything they can to pair you up and force sharing of cart. Greens have improved from what they a couple of years ago, but everything else a bit rough.

A challenging course

Course knowledge is an advantage on this course. While it plays fair, the margin of area can be costly. I believe the back nine to be the more challenging.

Good Las Vegas area golf course for the price

I paid $139 on GolfNow to play The Legacy course on April 9, 2026 (good value for golf in the overpriced Las Vegas area ). Overall, an enjoyable day. The round took four hours and 28 minutes, and would have been a 20 to 25 minutes faster if the threesome of seniors in front of us had ceased standing on most greens talking for five minutes after they’d holed out. As for the golf course, you have a driving range, a putting green and a chipping green. The course itself is in fairly good condition - very green & lush for the Las Vegas area - with two very noticeable and irritating exceptions: the greens, well receptive, and very green, are very slow. The real irritant are the teeboxes, most of which apparently have not been mowed in days (the grass often being an inch inch or more tall) and several of which are not flat. Like really? All that said, it’s definitely a course I recommend you consider playing in the Las Vegas area. I would play it again next time I’m in Las Vegas.

Course is being revitalized

This course has gone through a rough history but you can tell that there is a renewed care occurring! Except for some sketchy tee areas, the course is in good shape for this time of year! The greens are rolling true and the fairways are in really good shape. The sand traps are still pretty inconsistent (some have good sand depth and others have very little). The layout is fun and can play pretty long and hard from the back tees but is very playable from the white tees (approximately 6000 yards)…The price/value is one of the best in Vegas currently!

Customer service

Kudos to the starter. He allowed us to proceed with tee time when other two were late. I appreciate that he kept us on time. Once again another great experience. My 5th time golfing there. Course was in great condition.

Better, but it's still Legacy

The course is heading in the right direction and the staff is actively trying to make it better.

The greens were terrible last 2 times I played here, and the staff has worked hard to bring them back. They're watering the course a bunch. Bunkers had good sand. They have added cart GPS, this one beeps at you if you are on the cart path behind the 9th green.

There's still bare spots. The rough is still patchy. There's still spots that get too much water and are muddy. The tee box grass is too long. But the fairways are well watered and the greens were soft.

The layout is fun - downhill holes, long holes, peek-a-boo views of the strip/mountains, elevation changes, doglegs. There's a large range and a nice patio restaurant overlooking the range. The location is so convenient. If they can keep improving the conditions this course would be printing money.

Good course

Great playing conditions. Fairways are freshly mowed and the grass is healthy green. All greens are in great playable condition and most bunkers have fresh sand. I play this course often and it is its best condition that I’ve seen.

Legacy is looking great

Fairways, Greens and bunkers all in great shape. There are some bare areas If you hit it way off line. Pace of play was under 4 hours. Staff couldn’t be friendlier.
