Golfer Reviews
Last Day
Not bad considering the course is closed the next day for annual maintenance. Great layout.
Great coursewith great staff
Great course, elevation changes were fun, staff was amazing! Just an overall fun course! Greens were a little slow and bumpy from overseeding.
Good Course, Bad Timing
Currently in the process of over-seeding so comments are reflective of this condition. The course is a pretty course, hilly, with a few 100ft drops from the tee, some holes played uphill also., making for thinker's course. Greens were undulating but not in prime condition. It became laughable after 3 holes that as much as the balls bounced as they rolled, actually making a putt was a rarity. Short game practice area was closed for overseeding, While the driving range was open, there was little to no grass to hit from. Practice putting green "rolled" similar to the greens on the course. Staff was very friendly and helpful. No GPS on the carts, so bring your own, or go old school and guesstimate based on the yardage markers in the middle of the fairway. The course is challenging without requiring one to hit massive drives to be challenged. Some water and bunkers, but a few more bunkers, especially around the green would be a good change. Pace of play was 3 hours, 45 minutesI look forward to coming back when the course is in a more playable state. It's worth the 75 minute drive from Las Vegas for a different experience than is typical in the Las Vegas Valley.
Greens were terrible
I think they were doing maintenance, but no one mentioned it when we booked. The website didn't mention it either. I know it's a really nice course, but disappointed when we got there. I would call the course check conditions if you're wanting to play in the next month.
Beautiful
Really nice lady in the pro shop. Sorry I can’t remember your name. Loved the course felt like nobody else was even playing. Will be back again.
Palmer
not a crowded day in August. All the staff were great, from checking in at pro shop to started and range attendant. course was in good condition and the staff or golfers had the pitch marks repaired and divot areas were filled in. would definitely pay again on a Mesquite golf trip.
Terrible conditions
Terrible conditions from fairways to greens. Quit after 9 got tired of putts bouncing on way to cup and waiting min. 5 minutes on every shot. Other random we played with did same. Won't be back
Not in great shape at the moment
This is usually one of my favorite mesquite courses. At the moment the fairways are extremely dry and greens in bad shape.
Slow play
Slow play. 5 hour round Waited 15-20 minutes to tee off on many holes
