If you enjoy golf but also enjoy fishing and nature, than Lochore Meadows Golf Course, located 100 percent within the confines of Lochore Meadows Country Park, is for you. The park has views across Loch Ore and wooded hills, and it provides a tranquil setting for a relaxing game. The park also boasts water sports, walks, fishing and a nature reserve.

Lochmore Meadows Golf Course itself is nine holes surrounded by maturing trees. The fairways also offer glimpses of the Mary Pit Head and Benarty Hill. And a stream flows through the course on occasions, providing both a hazard and a taste of the wild.

The golf course plays short and long, with little in between. No. 1 is a 335-yard par 4, No. 2 is a 158-yard par 3 and three is a whopping 529-yard par 5. This back and forth is spread throughout, with only one real reprieve, the mid-range, 267-yard par 4 at No. 4.

Lochore Meadows Golf Course also offers food at Café at Park Centre, with snacks and light meals from 10 a.m. - 4 p.m. in the summer and 10:30 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. in the winter.

A very good council course

Great value for money council course. The greens were a bit slow but expected for early season. Tees, fairways, hazards were very well kept. It’s got a balanced mix of long holes and short strategic holes. Plenty of beginners out playing but keeping up with play and were letting groups play through where appropriate. Reminded me a lot of Caird Park, which unfortunately closed not long after Camperdown due to vandalism. Well done Fife Council for keeping this open, Dundee City Council should take note.

Lochore Meadows

Credit to the greenkeepers for keeping the course in such great condition. Lovely wee course for a casual round of golf. Only part that let the course down was the lack of customer service in the pavilion. Both workers sitting on their phones chatting, no acknowledgement to us entering and looking for someone to speak to. The pavilion was also very cluttered - tripped over a hoover that hadn’t been put away at the front door. Unfortunately it’s not a welcoming environment for folk to enjoy after a round of golf - a shame when the course is so nice

Little Gem

Very impressed with the course. In very good condition considering the recent dry conditions. Like the mix of some long challenging holes, along with a few risk and reward par 4's.

Great course, great condition.

Course in fantastic condition. Paid more for courses no way near as good condition to this one. Would definitely play again if in the area.

Pro was welcoming, even tried to find a ball marker out of his own bag as they had sold out of them in the shop.
