Lake Tahoe Golf Course stretches across a grassy mountain meadow, surrounded by the High Sierras, just minutes from the South Shore of Lake Tahoe. Crazy weather but good public course. Would play it again weather permitting.
This course is not for the faint of heart.
The course is very challenging due to winds but it provides a fun experience. Though it was very busy the golfers respected the pace of play and allowed us to play through. Very enjoyable.

Was my first time and enjoyed it, the course lay out and conditions were good, friendly staffs too, it’s an hour drive from Reno but il definitely be back :-)
Best shape I’ve ever seen the course.
Course was great. Greens were playing very nice, wish the sand wasn’t filled with rocks but it’s manageable. Pace was great weather was great, nicest the course has ever played. Hole 11 has a tee box being replaced so you need to hit from a mat that sits right in front of a tree, or hit from the tips.
(I’m joking). Too good. Stay away!
This course is a wonderful public course and the rates are incredibly reasonable. Don’t tell anybody
Fantastic to be able to access so early in the year. Course already in great condition. Greens not quite there but close. Staff friendly, and a great day out.

Incredible day on the course today.. the course is in great shape after the big storm and the weather was awesome. The staff are out of this world friendly. Can’t wait to come back!!
Lake Tahoe Golf Course Thursday
The course plays quick late in the season, we started and finished our round in 3 hours 42 minutes, we were onky slowed down on 10 & 18. Lake tahoe golf course offers a great course for all skill levels, the greens were pretty decent on this day. The wind didnt affect our game, it was nice playing with 2 local chefs, they kept up with pace as most locals do. I got a really good hot deal and was pleasantly surprised with how well kept the fairways have continued to be all spring & summer into the fall.
Greens are smooth
Lt golf course has had a lot of improvements over the 2025 year, their greens were repaired and rolled recently. Course is in great shape, wish all golfers would repair their divots and ball marks. With that said I love Lake tahoe Golf course.

We had a great time playing at this course. It is set in such a beautiful area, the staff are all super friendly, and the course is well maintained

Fun course. Just super slow. No Marshall’s .
Bunkers 7 out of 10 fairways 7 out of 10 greens 7 out of ten. Not super fast but pretty quick.The rough isn’t to bad. Great layout all the holes are different except for two. You might see a cart girl?
