Tahoe Paradise Golf Course
About
Situated within the woodlands of the Sierra Nevada Mountains, Tahoe Paradise Golf Course has a hilly landscape covered with towering pines. This short, tight golf course is filled with challenges including tight, narrow fairways and smooth, fast greens. The fairways are also lined with trees and thick cuts of rough and some of there is an occasional sloped green. Tahoe Paradise Golf Course's par-4 holes are said to have severe dogleg fairways and water hazards come into play on two holes. The picturesque scenery provides a relaxing break from the challenges of the golf course. One of the most scenic holes is the par-3 14th with a spectacular view of Mt. Tallac and the surrounding peaks.

Nice Executive course
First of all, the directions take you to someone’s house. The course was fun and was in nice condition. The biggest issue for a first time player is finding the tee boxes on some holes.
The fairways are surrounded by trees and narrow. Not always able to use the driver, which I don’t mind. FYI: No par 5’s. Be prepared to use your Fairway Woods and Hybrids.
Dangerous!
Layout is dangerous! This is a par 3-4 course only.
trees have grown
I played this course 48 years ago as a beginner, it was narrow and challenging. Now it is super narrow and very challenging.
Narrow Executive Course
Narrow executive course. Greens have a lot of slope. Driver is not necessary on most of the par 4’s. Putts above the hole are tough. Pace of play was good, especially considering the amount of novice golfers on the course.
Fun!
Very fun course, but it’s extremely narrow! Challenges you for sure!
Tight course great iron play
Tahoe Paradise has always been a tight course for layout and the course conditions are very good, the staff has always been friendly and supportive. The price is up there but it’s Lake Tahoe and a great course to work on your iron hits for correct placement.
I’ll be back soon
Good course, but could be a better value
Good course. Fun to play. Tight fairways with some interesting greens, but it’s a little pricey if you pay full price. If you can get a decent discount, it’s worth it.
Nice day at Tahoe Paridise!
I have been playing this course since the late 80's & this is the best condition that I can remember it being in! Fairways & tees mowed well with the turf in great shape. Greens are very smooth & running fast and true. It's not a full length course but it is a fun mountain golf experience.
Trio in September
I purchased and pre-paid for my son and 2 friends to play (with carts). They enjoyed the experience and felt the course and conditions were great. The only issue that arose is that my son was charged again at the course for 3 players to have carts. Apparently, what came across from Golf Now was only the price that was pre-paid. Because it was a “Hot Deal”, the staff at the course presumed that carts were not included, so they paid carts fees again. I will contact the course to see if we can get reimbursed for the double payment. Outside of that situation, the boys had a very good experience. If it is passable for Golf Now to provide the purchase details such that the course can see the purchase details, then mid-understandings can be mitigated.
Great course for the price
Parsdise is excellent in terms of service, layout and course management. The bumpy cart paths and the fast greens are something I am happy to work around considering the effort that is put into maintaining everything. 4.5/5.
Another day in Paradise
830 tee time. Started 15 mins early. Finished 18 (actually 16) in two hours-helped by skipping two holes to move past slow playing threesome. Short course with no part 5s and most par 4s under 300yds. But narrow fairways with lots of trees to even things out. Not your standard course but a new challenge to your game. One down side-several of the greens were in poor condition-brown bumpy dead spots that affected putts. Very scenic with all the trees. As Douglas MacArthur said “I shall return!”
