About
Located justhalf-hour drive from both Lake Tahoe and Reno, Sunridge Golf Club features monster holes and mammoth lakes. The 669-yards par 5 11th - the longest hole in the scenic High Sierras region and then some - draws your attention as soon as you look at the scorecard. But the 26 acres of water on the golf course will probably provide more challenge and thrills.
There's also a hole with a 300-foot drop from the tee to the fairway (No. 14), a tiny par 3 19th bet-decider hole and a ton of driveable par 4s that almost beg for you to go for it. As a bonus, Sunridge Golf Club's green fees wow many vacationers used to Tahoe pricing.

Golfer Reviews
Beautiful Course, Incredible Views, and Outstanding Staff
Beautiful Course, Incredible Views, and Outstanding Staff
We had a fantastic experience at Sunridge Golf Course. The course is absolutely beautiful, with stunning views throughout the round. It’s definitely challenging—you’re going to have to earn a good score here—but that’s part of what made it so much fun to play.
The real standout, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely seemed interested in making sure we had a great time. The bartender in particular was exceptional and really added to the experience after the round.
Beautiful scenery, a challenging and enjoyable course, and some of the best service we’ve experienced at a golf course. Sunridge is absolutely worth playing, and we’ll definitely be back.
Always a Great Play
This continues to be a great play for the price. Challenging and great variety of holes. Greens (with one exception) were good, some standing water in the traps and along the course. But always enjoy playing here and the staff in the pro shop and food area are super nice.
Fun course some green issues
Nice course layout. Couple of nice view holes. Some Greens have some severe issues with bare spots or grass rot damage. Vending machines on a few holes weren’t working. So hot summer day and broken vending machines not good as there is no beverage cart running.
Takes balls
This is not a walkable course. Played white tees. Plenty challenging for this 23 handicapp golfer. Lost about 12 balls. I will play forward next time because I am having problems getting off the tee. Lots of water and undulations. Looking forward to improving on this course!
Fun course
Fun course, great layout, great pace of play, definitely worth the money.
A Game
From the Blues you have to be able to carry 200 at times, some of the best elevation change around
Sorry,but not in good shape
This by far is the worse shape that I have seen. Needs lot n lots of water, everywhere. People working there are great, I feel for them.
Favorite course in Carson City
This is our favorite course in Carson City. The diversity of holes (some with water and some with cliffs and elevation changes. Staff is always so friendly and the course is in good shape. We wish they’d throw some GPS screens on their carts, but course distance poles are clear.
