Course was in great condition , challenging but really enjoyable .

The course was in good condition. Played on a boiling hot Sunday at 11.15. Play was v slow taking 4 1/2 hours to get round which was v frustrating - apparently a society was in play ahead of us holding everyone up. Some challenging holes and real steep climbs. Quite compact with Greens and the next tee too close together on a few of holes. Despite a few negatives I would recommend the course though which offered some different styles of holes I haven't come across before

Certainly will be going back to try and better my score, we found the back nine more challenging than the front nine.

There was a comp being played mostly four ball which made it a very slow round of golf over four hours.

But Certainly will be returning.

Super course in great condition. Some testing holes, and some tough hills to scale. Greens in superb condition. Definitely return.

I play Blackburn GC often. Course is usually the driest course around during the winter. Few temporary greens and good quality winter tees. Played in April, dry weather and the course was in good condition. My only gripe was other golfers clearly not filling divots or pitch marks. Green keepers are amazing and all staff are friendly and helpful.

Nice little course condition was still a big boggy considering how hilly it is and alot work needed in Certain areas

For the time of year the course is in great nick !

This is the first time we have played Blackburn golf club. The course was very up and down which in wet conditions proved to be a bit of a trek. The standard of the greens however were awful. If you were putting you would lucky to have a Three put. All three of us were very frustrated by the end of the round. We will not be going back. Not a pleasurable experience.

Course I’d extremely soggy. No standing water but poor drainage compared to a lot of other courses played. It is a nice course with some inviting long open fairways and nice little par 3s. Will definitely go back in the summer. All greens where open and have just been airated ready for sand.

Thoroughly enjoyed playing Blackburn again. Although winter rules in place, we always enjoy coming back each year

Nice course, some nice and unique holes with well maintained fairways and greens, definitely would recommend.

First time playing and both me and my playing partner said what a nice course it was. It’s quite hilly so would recommend a buggy. There’s some really nice holes and the greens and fairways were in great condition. Unfortunately nothing is open on a Monday and the pro shop wasn’t open when we got there so wasn’t able to get a drink or anything before the round. Would definitely recommend a visit
