Green Haworth Golf Club

Played 18 hols this afternoon and found each hole had its own challenges with quarries, bunkers and trees to keep you on your toes.

The course is well kept and the greens are absolutely immaculate!

Really friendly atmosphere around the course.

Already looking forward to coming back.

really enjoyed the course, members are very friendly. had a good chat with one of the groundsman and ir was a pleasure talking to him ,and will be returning has much has i can with my friends

First time playing this course after I stumbled across it last year whilst working and always wanted to play it ever since.

On arrival I was greeted with a member in the carpark who was happy to give a few helpful pointers out (practice net, putting green, lockers etc)

We teed off and worked out way around the course, what a nice layout with immaculate fast true greens, the course isn't overly long but each hole brings it's own test and danger.

The only disappointment or niggle was after the 9th I was met with a queue on the joint teebox for the 1st/10th so we had a good ten minute wait before proceeding behind a slow fourball. Other than that I came off happy knowing I've found a really nice well kept hidden Gem of a course.

We will be back.

First time playing here, close to my house als house. Will play again. 9th is a good challenge with high raised green behind a ridge with some challenging bunkers in front.

Played here for the first time and although the weather was hot and miss the course wasn’t. Interesting course for a beginner like me but throughly enjoyed it once you know the layout. Rain didn’t dampen things and due to it being a little off the beaten track it wasn’t busy.

Will definitely be back once a clear rain free day is forecast..

Incredible condition for a 9 hole golf course. Would definitely recommend as it's a great little test of golf.

Beautiful course but a tricky outing with the gradients and wind on offer, really enjoyable round with very friendly members and regulars. Well worth the trip out for the price and the challenges of the course are a must play. A code for the toilet wouldn’t go a miss but if you speak to a member they will gladly let you in, overall a decent 9 hole course with a few changes allowing a full 18, well looked after and maintained throughout, stunning scenery, what more could you ask for on an afternoon!

Loved this short course. Posted with my don who is a novice do some of the holes were quite tricky for him. Only wobble is please inform non members how to get the toilets!

Green Haworth is a brilliant golf course, we played in a 2 ball it cost £14 each for 18 holes (you go round twice).

The course was in excellent condition and the holes are varied and interesting throughout with plenty of features.

We’ll definitely come back to play Green Haworth again, and both said if we lived nearby we would join as members.

Turned up after lunch on a calm sunny Thursday. I was able to get a card from the reception area but no one was about and the rest of the building looked locked.

Probably only saw 3 or 4 other groups all afternoon.

I enjoyed playing the course which had a number of hazards to challenge the mid golfer. Lots of quarry's to avoid and the 4th a lovely little par 3 where you have to beat the water all the way to the green.

Tee boxes and fairways all in excellent condition for the time of year (just the 2nd playing off an astro mat). The greens had sand on them which took a bit of getting used to so lost a star - had they been in perfect condition id have definitely gone 5 stars and will certainly go back again. Great value for money too paying £11 in a hot deal
