Found the course a stern but enjoyable test. The condition was very good and really liked the tee numbering system. Demanding to the end. Staff were all very friendly and helpful - the members we met too.

Course was in immaculate condition. Par 3’s some of the most beautiful I’ve ever seen.

Whilst I appreciate that the course is undergoing extensive and significant changes and that we are probably entering the winter season, nevertheless we did feel that we were somewhat "ripped off" being charged 35 pound each. We had heard great things about the course which is why we drove so far to play it.

The back 9 in particular felt like a pitch and putt course with so much work being undertaken that several par 4s and 5s were reduced to short par 3s playing off temporary mats to temporary greens. Aside from the heavy machinery that was present, the course itself was very wet and muddy. I can see that, once the work is finished (with the green staff probably doing everything at once to be ready for next summer) the course will be an attractive challenging test of golf but at the moment it is in poor state and we should have been advised of this when booking (or at the very least in the Pro Shop)!

Amazing course - shame that GN or the course mentioned there were 2 holes under construction !

Wonderful, picturesque golf course. One hole was shut due to maintenance but that didn’t ruin the overall experience. Great conditions and good value for money

It was raining in the morning but cleared up and the greens etc were excellent. Still work being around the course but it did not detract from a very enjoyable round.

Three holes closed, just the time of year. It's a mixed bag, some great holes and some stinking holes. Much better than some average courses.

If your just starting playing the game than avoid. Anyone with half solid technique, worth a visit.

A little wet under foot but no standing puddles. Course was in excellent condition and the bar is lovely with great guiness

This was how one of the members described it to me. The course is great for 6 or 7 holes (the par 5 7th is great fun) but then really falls away. We were not told the 12th is a temporary green or that many of the bunkers were being excavated and were out of play. The course is undergoing major excavation works on the back 9 which we were not told about before paying over £50 to play. I think this should have been communicated in advance and the course certainly shouldn’t be full price. Wasn’t what I was expecting and think it’s out of order not to tell visitors about the ongoing works. Sure the course will be great once the works are done but disappointed with our visit.

Loved the course great variety of holes. Some work is being carried out on the course but didn’t impact enjoyment. Only negative number of 4 balls on course after 16:30. Should limit late tee times to 3 balls as slow going last few holes

I missed the message on the club website that 6 holes, are now closed as under reconstruction. ( no.s 6 to 11 inclusive.) This perhaps explains previous posts complaining about some poor holes.

Of the holes open, the course was in great condition, and the greens were FANTASTIC !!!

So, over the winter of 2022/23 it is a 12-hole course and priced accordingly. I can't wait to play all 18 holes in 2023.

Pleasington has been on my 'to play' list for a while now but I was slightly reluctant due to the, fairly, high price and negative reviews which I had read. However, I now regret not playing it sooner. The course is fantastic. The greens were immaculate, some of the scenery (especially on the front 9) was breathtaking and the layout provided a fun yet challenging test of golf. Other than the fact that I played the first 5 holes like someone who'd never swung a golf club before, I'm struggling to think of anything negative to say. I'll definitely play it again and, now I know the course somewhat, hopefully I'll play a little bit better. Ignore the misleading 3 star rating., this is a top class course.
