Wortley Golf Club

Some of the best greens in Sheffield all in very good condition and fast so credit to the green keepers fairways still recovering from the summer but enjoyed the round of golf ⛳️🏌️‍♂️

Very welcoming staff, challenging course well laid out. Everyone we met on course were great . Looking forward to playing again. Great views ,lovely club house. Pro shop eell stocked.

Really enjoyed it, great facilities quirky layout and excellent greens. Highly recommend.

Good course green are in great condition and lighting quick definitely worth a round 🏌️‍♂️⛳️👍🏻

Excellent golf course, staff very friendly, nice course layout

Greens were fantastic, there were 4/5 temps as to be expected, but the ‘proper’ greed were mint.

Really peaceful and enjoyed my visit.

Will be back soon

Winter round at Wortley Golf Course, great course, pity it was nearly all temporary greens and tee. We have played before and I’m sure we will play again. Due to the rainy weather we’ve been having the greens will be water logged and too soft to walk on. They looked in good condition so should be ok once the weather gets dryer.

The weather was cold and we played on a lot of temp greens but the course is still very good, you have to work a bit harder due to the reduced carry, the shorter temps does counter act this, we both enjoyed the round. But expensive with the temps. Overall the course is in great condition and they are building a new tee area on the third which once completed with be a good addition.

Played Wortley golf club on Monday, course was in good condition for this time of year, loved it thank you.

Great course. Always testing and playing really well for time of year.

I played Wortley on 23/10/23 and have played it a few times in the past.

We played in a four ball two days after a major storm has hit the area so I was half expecting fairway mats and plenty of temporary greens but the course was in fantastic condition with only one temp, and the Greens were in superb condition, and rolled true and were perfectly paced.

Wortley is a course with a excellent mix of holes although only one par 5. Some very interesting holes. It is a fair course for both the experienced player and the relative novice.

Fairways and Greens in great condition for time of year Course is challenging but if you put your ball in the right places it's very enjoyable would recommend it to anyone
