Country Land Golf Course

I want to start off by saying this course is exactly what you get for the money. It is a low quality course but that is what you get for such a cheap price. When we first got our cart, I noticed the smell of weed and thought nothing of it, because that is a somewhat normal thing for people on the golf course. When we got to the third hole, I pull my wallet out from the cart and notice that it is covered in a tar like substance. I smell the tar and sure enough, it is weed. I checked the other things I had in the cart and sure enough everything else was covered. Now I know I should’ve checked before, and I definitely will in the future, but when cleaning the carts I feel as if that is a hard thing to miss. It had also managed to get on my shirt. Just wanted to leave this here for anyone who may want to know this. I will not be coming back.

Played with my family on a Sunday afternoon, very friendly clubhouse staff. The course is a great value, good halfway house hot food. We had a dead battery when leaving and staff went out of their way to help us start the car, head home. Thanks for a great family Sunday afternoon!

The people on staff were great, the starter was nice, and the group I played with were awesome. I think they are trying to improve the course, but the greens and even a lot of the tee boxes were not leveled, the markers at the boxes didn’t line you up to the fairway, and even though the greens were recently punched, they were covered in debris and were like putting on a beach.

All in all, great experience, great people, and hopefully they can fix the greens and tee boxes!

Green are in terrible shape , I don’t feel any of the 18 greens rolled true many had bare spots and fungus .

Tee box’s also need work .

Maybe im just bias towards old prices but the condition of the fairways and greens di not seem to match the price of golf. The greens were very bumpy and the main issue i had. The fairways seemed to have a lot of weeds. The fact that they do not provide sand to fix divots speaks volumes about the condition of the course. Another factor was that they didnt seem to enforce a dress code. I saw a couple people playing in jeans and a t-shirt.

The worst greens I’ve ever played in my entire life. There was no grass.

This course is in very bad condition greens were like putting off a gravel road, t boxes were horrible also honestly just spend the extra 30 bucks and go play the hamptons. Will not be back

The amount of errant tee shots & lack of care for hitting into other groups was extremely concerning. If it wasn’t for the cart shield, we would have had a trip to the hospital. Not a good course design for the level of golfers that play here, need some nets installed ASAP before someone really gets hurt. It’s unfortunate because there are a few great holes and the course staff was some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. Hopefully they can work on some safety measures.

Cheapest rates in GA, but if you don't mind impossible bumpy greens and total hardpan tees and fairways then have at it. I would rather pay $20 more like at Reunion and play on grass 😁

I have played Countty Land several times over the years and enjoyed parts of layout and usually good greens. This time the greens were absolutely horrible.,bumpy bad grass or large dead areas there was no way to putt on them. The overall condition has really gotten bad.

For some reason my golf.pass did not discount my round so I paid 48.00 that is twice what the course is worth
