About
Mystery Valley Golf Club encompasses 230 acres of gently rolling land that ranges from dense forests of towering Georgia pines to grassy meadows covered in acres of colorful wildflowers. Mystery Valley is known for both the beautiful scenery on the course itself and the stunning views from the elevated tees. There are two lakes and a pond that dot the course, coming into play on three holes. At just over 6,700 yards, the layout features some long holes but it will also test your short game with strategically placed bunkers around the fast, medium-sized greens. There is an interesting variety of holes including several winding par 5s and the watery and treacherous 15th hole, which is considered one of Atlanta's most challenging par 4s. The more challenging elements of Mystery Valley Golf Club are balanced by the generous, player-friendly fairways.

It’s been a while
It’s been a while since I’ve played here but, it was as nice as I remembered it to be. As soon as I walked into the pro shop the young lady working in the kitchen greeted me (joyfully) as added, “please let me know if you need anything.” This might seem like a small thing to some but, it made me feel welcomed and appreciated. My only complaint about the course on this particular day was the greens were VERY shaggy and SLOW. I don’t like super fast greens either but, these were so slow, everyone in my group was 3-putting. Your ball could stop on a down hill putt, kinda slow. Otherwise, this is a great trak and I will be back
This course is a great value.
Great layout and challenging. Greens and fairways are in great shape. Grill is back and the food is delicious.

Overall course in great shape, greens have been in good condition last few times I’ve played there!!
Fun course that will test you..
This course has it all. Uphill, downhills, wide fairways and narrow ones. Dog legs, tee shot over a lake, and blind tee shots. Greens are in pretty good condition overall. The staff is really a strong component of the courses vibe. They get you started right.
Fun for relaxed afternoon.
The course was generally in good condition. Bunkers, however, only had a thin layer of sand with concrete underneath (I experienced multiple bunkers and they were all the same.) Most fairways are relatively narrow, and several dog legs are so sharp the driver needs to stay in the bag. Both the starter when I arrived and the lady at the snack bar when I finished were MIA. Since I didnt pick up a pin placement guide most placements were not apparent. I didnt see any rangers but the round took 4:10 which I find acceptable.
A day at Mystery Valley
I have been playing this course since the early 2000s and love the layout of the course. Some of the course was in rough shape including some greens while other holes looked great. It lacked consistency but there is that nostalgia that will keep me coming back.
If only it would rain
The course is very dry. As a result the fairways are quite thin in many places. The greens, especially on the back nine, are coming in nicely whereas the ones on the front nine are patchy. The sand traps, redone a few years ago, are really nice. Great layout no matter what kind of game you have.

Mow the greens
Guys, horrible mowing, Greens are of a circular shape. LEARN HOW TO MOW. You should be embarrassed.
