Mystery Valley Golf Club

This course was my favorite until my schedule got busy. Since I'm retired I will resume playing it at least twice per week.

The course has a nice layout and the conditions have improved over two years ago, especially the greens. Unfortunately the tee times must have been set for only 10 minutes apart. So i ended up leaving after playing only 7 holes even though I had paid for 18 holes.

I have played the course a number of times over the years. Yesterday's round found the course in the best condition I have played it. The greens were true and the fairways in good shape. Attention to worn tee boxes was observed and the sand traps were maintained. It looks like some responsible and effective management has been implemented. The only negative is that the trap rakes are in bad shape and the course needs more of them as a means to encourage their use.

This is first time my daughter played in the actual golf course. We had a good pace on the course and the green was pretty good condition . One thing , I wish the course had a better on the green.

Really nice local course. Not to difficult. Cart path needs some work. Course is well taken care of. Cart paths need some work.

I've played this course many times and remember when it was in horrible condition but they've really turned things around in the last couple of years. Just wish they would mow the greens more often. They were running at about a 5 yesterday, which means they were real slow and bumpy. The greens at the course where I regularly play are closer to 10. My playing partner started to get the hang of them as we made the turn to the back nine, but I never did. I had at least two birdie potts and four or five par putts that were tracking for the heart of the cup come up an inch or two short. Very frustrating.

It’s been a while since I’ve played here but, it was as nice as I remembered it to be. As soon as I walked into the pro shop the young lady working in the kitchen greeted me (joyfully) as added, “please let me know if you need anything.” This might seem like a small thing to some but, it made me feel welcomed and appreciated. My only complaint about the course on this particular day was the greens were VERY shaggy and SLOW. I don’t like super fast greens either but, these were so slow, everyone in my group was 3-putting. Your ball could stop on a down hill putt, kinda slow. Otherwise, this is a great trak and I will be back
