Like the layout of this course
We played a day after an inch of rain. The course was a little wet in spots but that was to be expected after the rain.
The fairways were in good shape and the greens were in great shape. They were a little slower than normal because of the wet cool weather but in very good condition. Normally these greens are really quick in normal conditions. The greens are nice and big and gives you a lot of room to work with. There are green side bunkers to deal with and water on a few of the holes.
The terrain is undulating and is not flat which makes the course more interesting to play. The fairways were in good condition for the time of year. The clubhouse was new with a place to eat and merchandise to buy. The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome. I will definitely play this course again.
Was very pleased with both the price for the round and the condition of the course. Great overall experience.
One of my favorite courses.
I love the layout of this course, can use all the clubs in my bag. weather warmed up nicely. Greens were a little inconsistent but that to be expected along with the lack of grass in the fairways. New clubhouse is gorgeous and it seems as though they have upgraded the driving range, turf was perfect to hit off of. Will return s soon as possible.
Really nice
I really like the course. Lots of character. Great people working there.
Better than most
Played here since they opened in 1988. No houses, other than the owner's. Always in excellent condition. If something needs fixing, it is done promptly. No cart path problems here, even after 30 years. Many, many courses that charge more, have cart paths in terrible shape. Bermuda greens are definitely a challenge. They're fast and have exasperating amount of slope. They can eat you up.
Best value around
I have played this course numerous times and found the greens are some of the best in this area. You must take the time to read them or you will suffer the dreaded 3 putt. The staff is outstanding and the new club house is a nice addition. Using the player club card you will not find a better course for the price. This is a course you can use all your clubs and need to place your shots carefully on some holes. There is a challenge to this course and you can score well if you take the time put the ball where you need it to be, not necessarily how far you want it to be. This is a must play course.
Reedy Creek
I like playing this course and it's a good course getting you ready for the season.. Staff was polite and helpful.
Great course for seniors as well...
Highly recommended....
Great course, great value!
Reedy Creek is an exceptional course for the price. Very good layout, challenging shots and very nice, fast greens...a must play!!!
Need some love
Tee boxes uncut , fairways dormant which Is to be expecting this time of year , crab grass on the greens which were bumpy .bunkers need sand .
Needs some maintenance but the layout is nice
Good course, moderate challenge
The course was in pretty good condition for this time of year. The greens, though, were inconsistent and spotted with weed growth. Bunkers below average condition. I've always enjoyed playing here and will come back. Their new pro shop /snack bar is a big improvement over previous.
First time
I think it is a nice solid course. It’s not long or overly difficult, but a good test for most players. Since I played in February I don’t know how well it is maintained during the rest of the year. Modern bermuda greens rolled well and pretty fast overall. I found only one hole to be unfair, and it was not a terrible hole.!Bunkers were in good shape. Pace of play on a packed course was 4:15, very solid.
Nice track ....
Booked this while down for a visit to the area.
Met up with two retired transplants , nice fellas for sure . They had been playing this course regularly
So... the greens are fast and in nice shape . Somesort of hybrid greens on the firm side .The course plays about 6400 form the tips and se ts up nice . Pretty much everything is in front of you.
Scenery Is nice and I really enjoyed the layout
.
Worth the drive
Played Reedy Creek for the second time, after getting a great deal on Golf Now . Playing partners I was paired with were great . Pace of play acceptable on a Sunday morning. The course is in wonderful shape , and the greens were very fast and smooth. Some of the pin placements were tough, considering how fast and undulating the greens are , but , you learn to keep your approach under the hole the best you can. All in all, a course worth the drive for me. I will definitely be back.
