Not Bad
Challenging. Hit many a good tee shot (I thought) then there would be trees in the way. Nice challenge with more than a couple water hazards. Wouldn't pay full price for this course though.
Reedy Creek Golf Course
I have played at Reedy Creek Golf Course for over 20 years. It is an excellent course in the best condition that I have ever seen it in. It is challenging and very scenic. A fun course to play.
The family who owns it and manages it do a great job. They do a great job to keep it in good shape. They are friendly, professional and helpful.
A great experience overall.

Highly impressed!
I had not played at Reedy Creek since just after they replaced the greens last summer. From tee to green on every hole I found the course to be in great condition, and in far better shape than I've ever seen it. Due to inclement weather, we had to take shelter several times during the round, but each time we returned to play the course and the greens especially had not lost their speed or quality.
Good course
Course was nice and in good shape. Greens had recently been airified but not an issue. Enjoyed the back 9 very much challenging but enjoyable. Pro Shop was not very friendly did not greet you or even say thank you.
Average course
The course was in pretty good shape and the layout was a mix of great holes and redundancy. If the course was a few hundred yards longer they could really make it memorable. All in all I would call it average for the area but got a good deal so I would recommend to others.
Fun and challenging
This course looked like it had very little play although the greens still had leftover evidence of aeration. They still rolled true and gave a good putter some challenges.
Second Time Around
This was only the second time playing this course, but I was able to cut 14 strokes off my previous score. I think if I play it a few times more, I can cut another 12 strokes. As Arnold would say, "I will be back"!
Great condition
The course is in great shape. The weather could not be better. Staff very friendly and helpful. I will definitely play there again.
Terrific Course
Course is very well maintained and has a great layout. Challenging enough for single digit handicaps yet playable for the average weekend golfer. Facilities are good and staff was very friendly, will definitely play this hidden gem again.
reedy creek
Lovely course, nice people but the course needs better drainage my hubby is disabled and we had to stay on the cart path only, it was very challenging!
Good place to play
This was a good course challenging yet playable. We had a great time the staff was great. No one rushed us we aren't very good players and we can be slow but on this course no one rushed us or said a word. Loved playing there an I can't wait to go back
good course
Nice course. great views and layout. Fairways ok for this time of year. Will be back to see how they are in a month or so.
Very good deal
A friend and I went out on a sunny Saturday morning around 11:30. Normally I expect a crowd on such a nice day but this was not the case. We arrived and had the time to take advantage of the practice greens which were in perfect shape and actually perfectly reflected the greens throughout the course. This course was in great shape, especially having just had a tremendous amount of rain just 2 days prior. No standing water in the fairways or the rough for that matter, and only one bunker in a shady area was "unplayable." This course offers a wide range of layouts from dogwood lefts & rights and multiple water shots which just add to the fun. My playing partner and I like to play fast and literally only waited maybe a total of 5 minutes on any of the tee boxes, which is great for a sunny Saturday in season. The staff was friendly, especially around the turn when we took advantage of the grill for some hot dogs and a few brews. I would recommend this course to anyone that wants to try out a new place to play. It's just 30 min or so from Raleigh off of 40East and very easily accessible. I will be heading back here soon. My only complaint would be that my fellow golfers seem to forget that fixing your ball marks on the green is great sportsmanship and ensures that the next time you play, the green will be in tip top shape. A few of the putts were bumpier than needed due to some poor "fixes" that could have easily been made even with only a tee in hand.
Great course to practice
The greens are fast and they are Bermuda greens. The course is always in great condition. The pro shop staff and concession staff can use some better customer service skills. They pro shop is more stand off and some what unapproachable. But as with most courses in this area they cater to their local community.
nice, fast greens
It was windy so it made club selection difficult. Pace of play was good considering lots of people on the course.
The greens were excellent
It had been raining almost every day the week before I played Reedy Creek. The course was not wet as I would have expected. In fact there were only four holes that were carts on path only, compared to all the other courses in wake county. The course has good drainage and runoff. The greens were fantastic, smooth and true. The staff is always friendly and very helpful. I had a hotdog at the turn it was great tasting and a great value as well. I gave the course and excellent rating because overall I felt like I received a great value for my money that day.
New Greens
They put new greens in summer of 2014. They are super fast and a real putting challenge. From tee to green the course is not that hard. Those new greens will have you walking away with some 3 or 4 putts, if you are not on your putting game. Makes for some good friendly competition with your playing partners.
Lightening fast greens
Fairways are winter grass but greens and boxes are in nice shape. Leaves were cleaned off the greens for the most part.
Nice greens
Nice challenging course, speedy greens that role true. I like the course layout the part 3s are challenging but doable the par 5's are reachable overall very nice course
New greens are great
I had played Reedy Creek before the greens were redone and the greens were in terrible shape. Now after the refurb. they are great. This really adds value to the course. Before the greens were refurbed I had told myself I wouldn't play here again. But now I will! The course is in great shape with challenging holes and moderate difficulty. I played for $16 and that was a steal. The sand traps are great ! Fairways are nice and the cart paths are in great shape. If you have a course to play this is it.
Nice review wmcgee. You are spot on regarding the greens, however, hole #14 (#1 handicap) is a dog leg LEFT and the water is on the LEFT, your advice to stay RIGHT and play a long iron in to the green on your approach shot is also spot on. I do have a question for you, hope you do not mind; how do you not play nine holes if you play 18? I of course refer to the golf now review question; "did you play nine holes?" I submit you must play nine in order to obtain eighteen completed holes of golf. just saying.....
Thanks for a nice review of Reedy Creek

Nice review, pjamespowell. Good to see some thought placed into writing a description of a course. I do have one question for you, hope you do not mind; how do you play 18 holes and not play 9? I am of course, referring to the default question on the golf now review page which ask "did you play nine holes?" The answer should be yes if you play 18. You cannot play 18 until you play nine. Just saying....
Thanks for a nice comment about Reedy Creek.
