Course might be a little over priced
Course a little over priced, nice but would not want to pay full price
Each hole was different. No two the same.
Great course with large greens that were in great shape. Each hole had a different feel. Course condtions were a little wet due the tremendous amount of rain we have had. The difficulty for me was the rough. Difficult to find your ball and next to immpossible to play out of it. Best to take your punishment and get back to the fairway ( which were great) and not worry about how far you could advance the ball. Rewards for good shots and punishment for bad ones.
Nice course
Nice course. Very well maintained. Greens could be better. Looked as if they had been repaired recently. Tight fairways and challenging course. Must bring your A game. Beautiful off course scenery with covered bridges and course view mansions! Great deal with Golf Now! Don't know that I would pay standard rate to play here though.
Really nice facility
I have wanted to play Grandover for a few years. Have stayed in the Hotel a few times and knew it would be really nice. Heavy rain for the last week made the course very wet. Hope to play again when it is much drier. But the course is very pleasing to the eye and in great shape! I will play again!!
nice course easy to find
very good fast greens straight forward can score well if keep it in the fairway I could play all day if allowed very fun
Love the 100 yard downhill Par 3 hole
The East course front nine is where you get a chance to post a good score. The back nine is tighter and longer, but it's fair!
I had a great time. I didn't play well but it wasn't because of the course condition.I wil return one day to play the west course.
I HAD A GREAT TIME. I DIDN'T PLAY WELL BUT IT WASN'T BECAUSE OF THE COURSE CONDITION. I WILL RETURN ONE DAY TO PLAY THE WEST COURSE.
Tight course with nice greens
This is a shotmakers course with many tight fairways, often not set-up to use a driver. The rough was heavy and the greens were very nice. There's also a fair amount of slope to the course.
One of the best facilities in the state
The deal through golf now was super I will diffidently use them again.
this is a serious course...
the greens were punch about a month ago but still green and fast and sloppy..... grass was dormant but this was a great course i got a great deal only way i could play it
Played East Course. Excellent value. Well managed.
The course is very well maintained. Greens are smooth and consistent. Staff is very courteous. Pace of play is excellent.
Good experience
Played 4/20/13. Fairways were about 50 percent green, 50 percent brown, but besides that, it was a lot of fun. not many players when we started, so there was no one slowing us down or pushing us. course had some challenging holes facilities were really nice, clean and well-maintained. Certainly worth playing.
course in great shape-well wortht the $35 we got it for
Course in great shape, paid $35 which is about 43% off. Well worth it!
Nice layout, fairly non-cordial clubhouse staff.
Booked through GolfNow for Grandover. Clubhouse staff made me feel as if I was presenting "food stamps" for payment instead of GN receipt. Your phrasing is perfect, dismissive! If they don't like people using GN for a reduced green fee rate then don't participate. Played the East Course, front side greens were iffy, back side in much better condition. The older gentleman who was the starter that day was extremely nice and accommodating! Y'all should promote him and put him in the pro shop! We won't be back to Grandover for quite awhile! Too many good courses and nice people at other local courses to enjoy instead! Thanks for the opportunity to review.
really nice facilities, course in good shape for early spring, greens were immaculate.

A Great day !
We played on a Sunday with a threesome. Pretty much had the course to ourselves. Even with a lot of rain the past week the course drained quite well. Cart paths only (of course) and when you walked out you understood why. Have heard stories of bad experiences in the clubhouse with staff (especially when using golfnow.com) but I can say they were polite and treated us great. Any time I have friends come from out of town and they want to play the best- I take them to Grandover. In My opinion both courses are the best in the triad! If you are considering and have never played there...do yourself a favor and book a tee time today !!
great golf experience
The Grandover E. course is challenging and yet fun to play. It is visually wide open but the fairway bunkering, sand ,water.and layout of greens makes it a target course. The greens are huge, with multipe levels so pin placement and approach accuracy are crucial. The staff was very friendly and accomodating and the facility top notch. I highly recommend it.
Took a good friend, he loved it.
Wonderful course to place.....good change from many other courses.
Great course!!
Great course, Be advised time of year to play not the best as they don't cut the rough. 4" of Bermuda and ball will sink to bottom, very difficult to find even if only 6 inches off fairways. Staff says they just finished a NCAA qualifier and they demanded such conditions and could not cut them due to time of year.????
Too much time looking for slightly errant shots that might catch a bit of rough. Only negative thing to say about course.
Very picturesque though and a pleasure with undulating greens.
