The Oak Hollow is very Challenging. The course is well kept

This is a nice, Pete Dye design course. Conditions were okay, but could be better. Pace of play was slow. two groups ahead were 2 couples. There were 2 holes open in front of them. Had to wait on every shot. Staff was nice and snack bar food was good.

Greens were great!!! Fairways were really nice too. Great little track!!! Gotta hit it straight off tee. Lots of risk reward shots. Definitely will find time to play it again.

The course was in great shape. I especially liked the location of the Red Tees, since I was playing with my husband! The greens were challenging. We had a great day!

Love this course. Great value. Holes on the water a lot of fun. Overall a short course but decent from the tips.

I've been playing Oak Hollow for about 25 years since i was a kid and it is still one of my favorite courses. I played last weekend as well as this weekend and the only negative was the number of unrepaired ball marks on the greens was terrible. (not all the courses fault)The course itself was in great shape. If people would just take the few seconds required to repair their ball marks it would make it much more enjoyable for everyone. As always this course is one of the most scenic and relaxing courses in the area. If you love playing golf on a peaceful and scenic course then Oak Hollow is your course. Multiple tees to choose from for every level golfer. The staff was very friendly. My group and the group behind us got stuck behind several very slow foursomes on the 11th tee box and one call to the clubhouse and the ranger was out there within 5 minutes and after that we didn't have to wait again the rest of the round. I play several courses throughout the year but Oak Hollow is one of the few I play several times and will continue to play.

Fun course to play. Front is shorter and presents some scoring opportunities. Some nice holes around the water. Number 6 is a great hole from the back tees. Back nine first 4 holes are tough holes and then it eases up towards the end. Get to hit some different short game shots with the green complexes.

Like other courses the pace of play is determined by how slow the group in front "wants" to play. And, apparently some enjoy holding up the group behind them.

we really enjoy oak hollow. We understand and expect play to be a little slow on the weekend. But, nevertheless, we had a great day, and always enjoy Oak Hollow

Oak Hollow challenging course for the intermediate golfer. Front side fairly straight forward not to difficult. Back nine more position golf needed and a bit longer. Greens in good shape fairways as the case everywhere so far this year need some work. Excellent value for the money.

Enjoy the layout of this course that has many different holes that require quality golf shots. Greens are in great condition as well as sand traps. Once all grass is green, course will look terrific.

Oak Hollow is a good municiple public course. Pace of play was slow due to closure of the sister public course for the day. Greens were good, fairways were good and getting better.

Course is in very good condition, had no one in front or back because of threat of thunderstorms so I was able to play in 3 hours. Have always liked the course and with the savings at Golf.now, it was even better.

Great Layout, they just aerated the greens, The course was wet and we had to keep the carts on the paths. It's called the rub of the green, not their fault but there should be a way to tell the players before they pay.

though it was still dormant fairways this course is still a very serious challenge and when the grass is alive one of the best in this area. cart path only makes it feel a lot longer and love the views on the holes..

The price on line made this an attractive package. Tough course, bring your "A" game.

The day was under frost restriction so I had to wait, but it was a packed day. The team let me out first since I was a single, and they worked me in. Good Job!

Must play in the triad. Only thing I would say the rangers are really annoying when you are trying to play pulling up staring and starting cart in back swing. Other than that great food nice course.

I make sure to play this course each time im in north carolina visiting my brother. Its my favorite course near him and a great price!!!!

Oak Hollow is a challenging layout with an array of holes along the lakefront. The course was in very good condition. Greens were a bit shaggy and needed a shave, however, they were in good shape an very playable. They let a high school match shotgun off in the middle of our round and that ruined the experience. We couldn't even finish our round because of the pace. We played 12 holes in 90 minutes, then got behind the high school matches and played 3 holes in 60 minutes. We were behind a threesome of girls and were waiting 10-15 minutes between shots. Had to quit after 15 holes. My club closes 9 holes when they have high school matches and it's never an issue. Next time I'll verify if they plan to shotgun the kids off and I'll stay home or play somewhere else. Frustrating to have your round interrupted.
