Oak Hollow Golf Course
About
Oak Hollow Golf Course is one of two municipally owned golf courses in High Point, N.C. This Pete Dye design is the newer and more popular of the two. The layout features several Dye signatures including pot bunkers and railroad ties but it's the small, undulating greens that are the most recognizable Dye trademark. The golf course has an interesting mix of holes, including several risk-reward opportunities. It's a course that will make you think, rewarding strategy and accuracy over might. The signature hole is the par-4 sixth. This 420-yard hole wraps around a lake with an island tee at the tips that will test the brave. Oak Hollow's toughest hole, though, is the 437-yard 11th, also a par 4. You'll need a perfectly placed tee shot and then after you're met with a triple-tiered green that sits along the water's edge.

Perfect Day Photo submitted by Zippy0058 on 10/17/2016
This course is excellent!
Pete Dye for under 40? Wow! 3-1/2 hr. front 9? Ouch. Had to wait on every approach and tee shot at least 10-20 minutes. Tee time was at 12:56, front 9 done at 4:28 and decided to stop after the 10th because it wasn't getting any better. I would recommend this course with a YES, you HAVE to play it! I WILL be back to get you, back 9!!
Great course. Worth stopping by to play
Hard to believe having lived here all my life that I never played this course until now. Found a great deal on Golfnow so booked a 4some. Had a great time. Course staff were friendly, the layout is fun and challenging and there's some great history to this course.
Will definitely start to add this to my regular rotation of nearby courses I play.
Great Pete Dye course at a great price
Even though it may take a little longer to play due to traffic it is still a very good course for the money. We played it on Jan 12th 2013 and the course is still in good shape considering the Bermuda is dormant this time of year. The pace of play was a little slow considering the course was full. The middle of the round is the most challenging with the holes along the lake. It play's longer than the yardage of 6564 due to elevation changes and shots that must be worked left and right into the greens.
I Love This Course
I can play this course everyday. It flows so well from the first tee to the 18th tee. You will enjoy every shot even the ones out of the rough.
Super condition
Oak Hollow maintains their course well and the staff is always friendly. For December, the greens were great and fast.
beautiful layout around oak hollow lake
The course was a little wet in places in the fairway but overall really nice greens and very challenging.
Excellent value, service, and condition.
Oak Hollow is always my favorite course in the area. The conditions were outstanding, value terrific, and the staff was
very friendly! On a weekday afternoon, the pace of play was quick!
I would definitely recommend Oak Hollow as a MUST PLAY in the Triad!
Great challenging layout. Pro Shop not real friendly
Paid for single player online and when I checked in, the gentleman was eating a sandwich and seemed bothered by me checking in at the moment. Other than that, starter was nice and course was in great shape for recent bad weather. Definitely a challenging and fun day.
great course, tainted by old disrespectful staff.
Loved the course. I was surprised that each of the few times I've been to the course I have had my excitement of playing golf stifled by the "I'm just here so I don't get fined" attitude of the aged staff members.
